The women at Barking lot were fantastic! They were super friendly and our pup Hazelnut came out smelling so fresh and looking SHINY with a pretty bandana. Definitely recommending Barking lot to others

I found a place that my fur baby can feel comfortable going to. He has amnesties in new places but Beverly is awesome with him. The prices are reasonable. There’s no fluff just a lady that’s passionate about making our babies look good and feel good.

Just a head's up: if you have a dog that was a shelter/rescue and is scared of strangers, and/or is sensitive to having a certain part of their body touched, this is not the place for you.My fiancé made an appointment and informed them that our dog is nervous around people and is sensitive to having her butt and tailed touched. She was told that it would be fine and that the groomer likes to get to know the dog before starting. Sounds awesome. Walk in and immediately the two ladies were making jokes about how our dog was nervous and that she couldn't escape. The (I presume) groomer took her into a half room off to the side by herself and shut the door. I could see in, which was nice. She cornered my dog and immediately started trying to touch her butt (not exactly the wisest thing to do with a dog you've just met that is clearly nervous or scared; feels like that's common sense). My dog didn't appreciate it and tried to nip, never coming near her hand, not even growling or showing any signs of aggression beyond, "Hey, I don't like that."The lady, without missing a beat, just immediately gives up and says, "Nope. Not gonna do it. Good luck, you might want to have a vet sedate her." Only reason I didn't protest is because I wanted to get my dog out immediately. Not cool.My fiancé wanted to give them a shot because of the good reviews, they're very close to where we live, and because we try to support local businesses over big companies like Petco as much as possible. However, it looks like we're going back to Petco.

My dog Rex had his first appointment today. He was very nervous due to a bad experience at a chain store/ groomer. The women at the Barking Lot were sensitive and kind. I stayed maybe 10 minutes to calm him. But when I returned, he was waiting for me so serenely with the biggest wag and smile, completely comfortable! Thanks ladies, for treating my big baby like a big baby! ? We'll be back!

1st time and already got disappointed. Baby Got razor burns on his belly! Talking about scratching from flea. Wound wouldn’t be fresh like this. Groomer could have admitted her fault but denied. Plus my baby never had fleas on him, Plus its only his tummy has wounds basically. If its flea could have been all or most of his body. Never coming back again. Be cautious.

Our first visit and we were so happy with the results! The staff there were extremely kind and loving. They listened to what I asked them to do and did it perfectly. I’ve heard horror stories about people taking their dogs to groomers and when they pick them up it’s nothing like what they wanted but this place was fabulous! Loving people who took great care of my fur baby on her 10th birthday!
