Be very weary of this location. My dog was seen and prescribed medication that worked amazingly after a year of trial and error. Vet advised us if it worked then they would put her on it full time. Yes until you call them and they cancel your appointment a day before and then say they can't refill it because you were never seem at their location (which is the silliest thing I heard yet being i dropped my dog off... I mean second to the vet had to cancel my appointment because the vet can only see dogs less then 30 lbs ). It's sad that a company who has a mission statement of " a better world for pets" for the second time has completely neglected the care and comfort of their patient. In fact the manager was more concerned with taking over me then offering ANY type of solution. I have compete trust in my location that I go to. It has only been this location that has been completely unhelpful the two times my puppy needed them the most.

Brought two kitties in to be looked at for skin issue. Sent home with wrong treatment, no
Improvement and now my other kitten has same skin issue. Was told it was ringworm, came back after asking another team member what to do. Team member said she has never heard of the wipes we were given being used for this skin issue. Worker was perplexed at the treatment my cat was given. Came back to be told it was not treated correctly and now have to buy two sets of several antibiotics and treatments. Whole time we are in the room we hear workers talking about how they are “just trying to go home” unprofessional does not begin to describe

If I could leave no stars today, I would. I showed up early for my cats appt and they said I need to reschedule because he needs to be on Gabapentin. No one told me this when I called on Wednesday and again this morning to confirm the appt. It was never "required" for past appts. Thanks alot

Love the Collins location. You don't have to walk across the whole PETSMART to get to the counter. They have better hours then the rest of the locations and are more flexible with appointments.

And it's really sad when these companies like banfield, and I shouldn't be surprised because they did this before to me years ago with another dog I had that was severely sick, but I thought that maybe over the years they would have changed but I was sadly mistaken. They have rescheduled my appointment twice one of the time allowing me to draw all the way over there and then tell me that they can't see my dog. The girl at the front desk was not very kind or accommodating then when the manager called me later on that day she was even more rude than the first person. She basically acted as though it was my fault that the initial person that I spoke with on my first visit did not put into the system that my dog cannot be dropped off and even though myself and my mother both told them that and they acted like it was no big deal that I've had to reschedule my work twice now and use up my gas to drive all the way over there when they could have just called me and said they couldn't see the dog today. But instead she acted like I was the one that was to blame for all this and he then proceeded to tell me that I should have known that Banfield revolves around a drop off type environment even though nowhere on the Banfield website or in their Wellness plans does it state that you can only drop off your dog and it's rare that you'll be able to see a vet. Now we are stuck in a Wellness Plan with them for a year and it seems like we won't ever get to actually be in the room with our dog with a vet. Like I said it is just a sad thing and if you actually want to be able to go into the vet with your animal sit down with the vet and not drop your animal off somewhere for an entire day just to get a vaccine which is all my dog was there for then please go to another vet and do not sign up for their Wellness Plan. It really seems like all Banfield is about is their revolving door and how much money they can bring through it. They do not seem to care about the customers or about the animal. Just please think twice before taking your animal there.

On Saturday, September 6, 2024, one of our fur babies had a preventive care appointment at Banfield Pet Hospital, located at 7947 Parramore Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32244.
Unfortunately, the care and treatment of our fur baby did not seem to be a priority for the staff. We waited in the room for over 30 minutes without being informed of any delays or given any acknowledgment of when we would be seen. Additionally, a family and their fur baby, who arrived and checked in after us, were seen promptly.
Even if the patient in the room next to us was an emergency, we should still have been informed of any delays or at least notified that we were next in line.
After waiting patiently for over 30 minutes and having my other fur baby and daughter waiting in the car for an extended period, we were disappointed with the lack of communication and consideration.
We approached the front counter to inform them that we were canceling our appointment due to the extensive time we had spent in the room without acknowledgment. The staff seemed more concerned with ensuring that our appointment was a wait rather than a drop-off.
Perhaps focusing on customer service and the care of Khloe would be more beneficial than worrying about the type of appointment we had.
Now, any potential care or treatment Khloe may have needed is delayed, which feels like a form of veterinary practice negligence. Considering Banfield withdraws the payment for both our fur babies faithfully each month, I do not feel confident that my fur babies will receive the care and professionalism they need for future appointments.

Called 3 times last week to request my pets vaccination records to be emailed to me. When I arrived in person to pick them up that gal at the desk went on the computer to see if indeed they were emailed to me. She said no one had sent the email! Poor customer service!!!! If it ever happens again I will go somewhere else!

I received a call about my dogs shots and returned the call was placed on hold. While on hold I answered an another call and this is the message from Banfield after calling me back and leaving a message. Hi good afternoon this is Amber returning the call from Banfield it looks like we got disconnected I hope that I wasn't hung up on but at this time I am going to deactivate the account due to that behavior if you have any questions or concerns feel free to call us back…” This is very unprofessional for a business!!!

Very responsive to the disability needs of an elderly woman with an Emotional Support Dog. My dog Riley is a barker & strong leash puller. My Riley & I have had very bad experiences with the neighbors St Bernard coming through our screened patio & charging @ us, knocking me to the ground & challenging entry to our front door. For my safety Riley’s safety the staff escorted us inside & placed us in an exam room instead of waiting with the other dogs. Last visit was definitely easier. Thank you to each staff member… Thankyou❤️

Dr. Rossi takes care of all 3 of our animals and I trust him completely. He takes his time and then carefully explains everything until you understand. The people up front are so friendly and helpful, I have been going here for a while now and enjoy having a nice place to take my animals.
