We did some Christmas shopping and found gifts for several friends. My husband talked me into buying specialty food items so people didn't have to deal with finding a place to put something for the rest of the year. I found the most beautiful Christmas ornaments for a couple people that were very fitting for the person. It's easy to get carried away with gift buying in this adorable shop. It also offers a great selection of hostess gifts.

Best customer service EVER!!! This darling shop has long been a staple in the Riverside/Avondale area. My sister shops there regularly and always comments on what wonderful gift items they have -- there is truly something for everyone here! I happened to be in the store this time because a college graduation gift for my daughter had not arrived in time (ordered online) We called to see if they had the item I was looking for (I know, I know - I should have shopped locally in the first place!) and they DID! They had just gotten in a shipment that afternoon! We quickly made our way over to Avondale and the minute we walked in the door, we were made to feel like we were a priority. These days, friends, THAT is rare! Samantha (who, we find out later, owns the shop with her sister) pulled out all of the items, going above and beyond to help us choose the right gift for our daughter. When we finally arrived at the perfect bracelet set, we were thrilled! Samantha and the other two ladies in the store had helped us find the perfect gift! While I was working with Samantha, my husband browsed the rest of the store. He was very impressed with their selection and the quality of items in the shop; noting that there were gifts for men and women, young and adult. The biggest win here at the Avondale Gift Shop though, is their commitment to EXCELLENT customer service. Not only will we be back to shop, but I am going to make sure everyone knows how AWESOME this hidden gem in Avondale is! Big thanks to you all for saving the day!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this gift shop. They have a great selection of Christmas ornaments, and other gifts for the home. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Every year at Christmas time, I make it a point to stop by and it's always a wonderful experience.

If you want to be followed around and hovered over like you’re gonna steal something this your place!! I will never set foot in this shop again!!! The last time I was in here the same thing happened…I brought my mother this time because it is a cute little shop but we will never come back!!!!

Today I went into this little gift shop just to browse. I found these beautiful "Be Still" notecards with an angel on the front. When I was checking out, I was a little emotional because these cards are to send notes to my twin sister who has ALS. I live in another state and come to see her as much as possible, but these cards are perfect to write to her when I'm not here. This dear sales clerk had so much empathy for me. It really goes beyond words how she showed concern to let me share just a few words about my sister. So it was more than loving these cards. I loved this shop and the people. They are rare and priceless.

I happened across Avondale Gift Boutique as I was searching online for a particular item I haven't otherwise been able to find. Being skeptical as I've come across many fake sites, I did more digging and decided this one was legitimate. I placed my order and followed up the next day with a call. The woman who answered was extremely accommodating and confirmed everything for me. She set up shipment for that morning to go out. My first job in high school was for a family-owned gift and apparel shop in my hometown as a gift wrapper. My experience there set the bar for customer service throughout my life. I absolutely love these family-owned businesses and am THRILLED to have found another dependable one like the ones with which I grew up! I've already shared their information with friends and look forward to my next unique find! Thank you so much!
