I was taking a business trip from Tallahassee to Fernandina Beach. Because of Spring Break, I was not able to find a local rental so I was lucky and found one in Jacksonville. I rode with a coworker to the rental facility and aside from the traffic in the area that I am NOT used to, the staff was friendly, upgraded my rental at no charge due to the selected vehicle not being ready yet, and it was fast and easy. I may never have to rent from there again (it was a strange circumstance) but am glad the process went well, and though I was hesitant to drive such a large truck, it was a great ride in the end. There is not much room for parking, so be prepared for that.

Great service at pickup, good cars as well ... worst post service every, I left my watch in the center console and it took me 5 minutes to notice it, when I came back, car has gone and nobody could find the car, 5 mins after exactly .. also, next day on avis - lost item - website, nobody posted my watch. They found it and they stole it. Thats what exactly happened, period !

My experience with AVIS was amazing. The process went smoothly and to top it off, I was issued a brand new car with only 291 miles. I could not have been more happier than that, before heading out to a beautiful new year celebration in Orlando. Returning the car was also a breeze. i would absolutely recommend AVIS to anyone.

Avis car rental on Atlantic blvd jax fla in the Arlington area is the place to rent from, the are kind,courteous and friendly, they gets you in and out and always provide a rental when you need one

It was a waste of my money. It was supposed to be a $300 online deal for the reservation, but with fees/taxes, it became $500. It was filthy, smelled of marijuana, and had residue coating the inside so much I had to pull over and wipe it down to see at night. Everything was sticky and disgusting. Why am I paying half a grand for this??

I usually rented cars with Avis and left my car at Avis garage until I returned, but last time I rented car from the Avis branch at 10246 Atlantic Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32225. the man there told me that l’m not allowed to leave my cars. that was very disappointing because how come I can drive two cars at the same time and then I was about to cancel my car reservation and he told me that I could leave my car, now that was even more ridiculous because if there was a place available, why did you try to waste my time.

Chose this location to get a rental while my car was serviced. Located on Atlantic Blvd near all the Jax car dealerships, this is a busy location for not being at the airport. Staff was friendly and efficient. Got a Jeep Cherokee Hybrid that was clean and new. The lead guy there is super knowledgeable and kind.

Subject: Review of My Recent Experience with Avis Rental CompanyRating: ★★☆☆☆I recently had an experience with Avis Rental Company that I feel compelled to share. I drive for Uber so this occurred with the Uber / Avis representative that works the front counter and, is partially bald. Unfortunately, my encounter left me deeply dissatisfied, and I hope my feedback will prompt positive changes within the company.I required a local tow from Douglasville, Georgia, to Eastpoint, Georgia, and this seemingly simple transaction escalated into an ordeal that I never anticipated. What was meant to be a straightforward rental agreement became a source of frustration and disappointment. And, on top of that I’m being charged for a broken windshield that wasn’t broken when the vehicle was rented to me.I believe it is essential to highlight the conduct of one Avis /Uber representative during this experience. I suspect that their actions were driven by personal motives, resulting in me being overcharged for my rental, seemingly out of spite and retaliation. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue amicably, I was met with hostility and resistance.Avis, as a reputable rental car company, should uphold the highest standards of professionalism and transparency. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of these expectations. It is disheartening to think that such questionable practices can persist within the company.I sincerely hope that my feedback serves as a catalyst for change within Avis. No customer should have to endure such treatment or questionable billing practices. I urge the company to investigate and rectify this matter to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future.In conclusion, my recent experience with Avis Rental Company was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to share it as a cautionary tale for others. we’ve kept a good working relationship with Jay at this location for a few months now and HE is the reason I put 2 stars... However, don’t expect good customer service from the ones working the counter or answering the phones. If you inconvenience them, they will definitely let you know. I was put on hold for so long it cut me off and hung up… when I called back to try again, I was given attitude and told they are busy (like I can see in the building). I literally had to just hang up with no idea of how to handle my current reservation with them. Very disappointed.

Excellent staff here! Very friendly and although I have only been in that location once, they still remember me when I call each week to renew.Once there was a slightly rude woman on the phone with me 8/9/23 at around 5:30pm...I'm gonna chalk that up to a long day dealing with peeps much less desirable than I.
