I have tried to make an appointment 3 times. First time they contacted me promptly informing me that the vet was out sick, no problem I rescheduled for 2 weeks out. Second time same thing 2 weeks later ? The vet is still "sick" mind you my dog was a new patient so I havent even met this vet yet and all I needed was her rabies vaccine renewed and her nails trimmed, which they know because they asked why I was making the appointment all normal and reasonable questions but things happen I reschedule again for the next week closer out and everyone I have spoken to have been nice as well. Now comes the third time I get the text message saying once again! The vet is out "sick" I would understand if they had covid or something but to reschedule be 3 separate times and still not be seen for about a month now for a simple checkup and renewal? I'm irritated and will not reschedule for the 4th time and do not recommend the ghost vet. No fault of the reception desk for having to deal with I'm sure many angry patients paw-rents

Dr. Alexa was very sweet and attentive to my dogs and their needs. Her plus the staff were very professional and addressed every concern I had. Definitely happy we switched to Oceanway ?

Dear Animal Hospital of Ocean Way, being new to Jacksonville, the Lord led me to you. Thank you Dr. Alexa and her Assistant for making a bad situation comforting. You really care about your furr-babies. You explained everything very well to me and my husband on how you were going to put Grayson down. Dr. Alexa you were so kind, gentle and loving throughout this “putting down” procedure. Also, thank you for the Memorial Box.

Brought my baby girl Athena in after a fight with her big brother. When I tell you the whole staff from top to bottom was the best. To Jessica thank you so much for caring for my big girl. I do not know the girls name at the front desk with brown hair, but if she sees this, you were absolutely amazing. Hopefully we never have to come back for the reason I met them, but will definitely be switching Vets.

Everyone that works here are extremely kind and caring. It's obvious that they love animals and will take great care of your pet. I've been a customer for almost 20 years and they always make my pets a priority.

We have had such a great experience with two vets there now. We have older dogs and are having to make hard decisions. They are so kind, non judgmental, and honest. They give you pricing before you make any decisions and don’t pressure you one way or another. By far the best experiences we have had at a veterinarian’s office. Thank you for your care!
