Our cat had a bad reaction to Advantage 2 flea medicine for large cats. When I rushed in frantic, they quickly took him back, checked him over and after discussing a treatment plan began the process of saving him. Everyone was kind and compassionate. He was able to return home early the next day, thankfully back to his former self. We are so thankful for their care and attentiveness.

We were referred to BluePearl for our dog because of his , almost, year long fight with UTI & E.Coli. With a more advanced Ultrasound & physical examination the Internist believes the problem actually stems from his prostate. We are awaiting the results of a specialized urine test which will show if he has cancer. Everyone was very friendly & professional. We feel like, because of them, we are headed in the right direction for answers.

I am very pleased with their hospital. From the staff to the surgeon, Dr Harper, was an experience without any worries that the team was going to do a good job of taking care of my Riley with her surgery. Everyone had her care first and everything else just fell into place.
Thank you Sydney, Dr Harper and the surgical team for being so caring for my loved one ??♥️✌️?

I took my dog to Blue Pearl in the middle of the night as he was experiencing heavy panting and would not stop. Dr. Agent, Savannah and Carla were great with him and me. They handled him gently were very thorough, informative and helped him feel much better with the shots and medicines I went home with. Thank you, Blue Pearl for being there for him once more.

If you care about your pet, do not bring them here unless you are ready to spend thousands of dollars upfront. Please take your animals elsewhere for care.
My family brought our 4 year old cat here for shortness of breath and would not be able to have her receive care unless we paid over 4000 dollars upfront to hospitalize her. Unfortunately, her condition was worse than we anticipated, and we had to make the difficult decision to put our cat down because we could not afford the cost of treatment. This clinic is money hungry and predatory to those who are unable to afford expensive care to animals in life threatening situations and in emergencies.

Brought my once Feral, now nice Cat Spray, in with a high fever. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Sondalei with concern and patience. Cara the nurse and Dr.Aumann explained everything to me and that Spray needed hospitalization. Spray was a bit better but not well the next day. I was able to visit with him and even got him to eat most of the chicken breast I brought along. I want to seriously thank these three in particular. There was no denying the compassion I saw in their eyes from day 1. Spray is now home and in his pen. I even managed to get his buddy Spray 2 in there with him.
Thanks once again and God Bless You.

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is second to none! Never before had I been to a specialty veterinarian hospital. I was so afraid and concerned for my Jasmine fur baby because she had skin cancer which had to be surgically removed. I was so nervous and feared the worst but from the moment I walked in the door I had a good feeling about being here. Immediately upon entering the building I was greeted with smiles as was my 11-year-old Jasmine fur baby. The front desk staff was truly awesome and amazing as was everyone I came into contact with. Hats off especially to my Fantastic surgeon Dr Harper and her technician Karen and others who took care of Jasmine. Everyone here treated me with the utmost respect, caring, knowledge and even made my fur baby Jasmine feel at home wagging her tail as she came in. Their smiles just warm you on a cold day and I knew once I walked in their door that I would walk out feeling much better emotionally. It was so amazing that Dr. Harper personally always kept me updated with phone calls before during and after her surgery to remove the skin cancer. Whenever I called, someone always answered the phone and spoke to me in detail answering any and all questions I had. No voicemails here! I was so afraid for her and her outcome but I was put at ease by all staff. Dr Harper did an amazing job as a surgeon and Karen, Dr Harper's technician is absolutely awesome in the great detail taken to care about Jasmine and relax me emotionally out of my fears for the outcome. Now that she is home from a successful surgery, I receive phone calls and whenever I call, someone is always there to pick up. Their prices are very reasonable for all that they do. Military discounts are also accepted. I highly highly recommend Blue Pearl Hospital in jacksonville, FL to everyone for their fur baby that needs specialty Care. Hats off to you Blue Pearl, and thank you forever in my heart Dr. Harper for saving my dog's life. Thank you for always being there for me and my fur baby Jasmine. You are a true gem to your profession, each and everyone of you.

A week and a half ago I took my 10yo miniature schnauzer to this hospital as a medical emergency. I carried my dog in. He was visibly in distress and we stood at the desk doin intake as if it was a regular visit. We were then instructed to go in one of the exam rooms and wait. Hospital was almost empty and we weren’t greeted or taken in by any medical staff. Within minutes my dog collapsed. When I started screaming for help a nurse came in and picked him up, took him to the back. The Dr came to get me after and said he went into cardiac arrest. There was nothing else to do for him. We made the decision to let him go in the most humane way. I hated the way we had to say good bye. The way they handle the business part of this terrible event was to me very cold and rude. Being interrupted to sign papers and make payment decisions and cremation choices while he was on the table agonizing. I had to ask the nurse to wait until we were done with the process but she was very persistent and honestly lacked tact when it came to that part of the visit. Why interrupt a person during this horrific experience? Just wait. Where was I going at that point?
I still don’t have his remains. I was told no more than 5 or 6 days. It’s been 10. I called to ask a couple of days ago and was told basically that the cremation people will bring him when they bring him. I asked for a contact number and was not given one. Only told that there’s no way of knowing when I will receive the remains.
This is not my first experience losing a beloved animal, never have I had to wait this long not having a day assured to have my boys ashes.
I wish I had taken him somewhere else. The lack of urgency to tear an animal coming into an emergency room and now having to wait so long to bring his ashes home.

I brought my dog into ER on a Friday evening with an apparent heart attack. BluePearl Jacksonville staff were so kind, caring and gentle with my dog and with me. After a subsequent trip to UF Vet School for consultation, we are following up at BluePearl for further evaluation and treatment. My primary concern is quality of life (vs length), and the staff understand and are very respectful as I consider options for scope and extent of treatment. Good Folks!

While Ashley at intake was fantastic and helpful, management needs to rethink having Chloe on staff. If someone brings in an animal that is unable to walk (even if he can stand) the owner usually knows that they have fallen and there are issues, especially when being sent to an emergency vet for emergency fluids, sonograms, and low glucose. I have been here in the past and had great experiences but will absolutely being speaking to management because her treatment was unacceptable. Forcing someone to put down their dog and saying “I just want to see him walk after being told that it is an issue. Teach your staff better. This could have easily been prevented

The emergency and internal medicine staffs at Blue Pearl are among the best to ever take care of our pets. Their expertise and professionalism is only outmatched by their genuine care for us and our pets. This is true of the front desk, the nursing team, and oustanding doctors. I can't overstate how great Blue Pearl is and highly recommend them for routine and emergency care.

This place was terrible, we brought our dog in after he was bleeding out of the mouth and nose and we were planning to put him to sleep. In no way were these people compassionate or caring about the entire process, they flung papers in our face asking for money while our dog was breathing heavily and bleeding over the entire room instead of handling that afterwards.
