Buyer beware. Website says they will reprogram your computer in your vehicle if car battery is purchased there. I called to confirm and they said they don’t do that. False information on the website.Don’t believe what you read.They lost me as a customer.

I don’t usually waste my time with reviews unless it’s worth it… The two gentlemen working when I came by to have my battery checked, were more than helpful in a great mood. Hope the other shifts are on their game!

Went to have battery tested and the employee couldn’t even figure out how to connect the battery tester to battery. So I had to hook it up for him. So I thought to myself I should leave and not let him touch my truck. Good job training your employees!

I've lived five minutes from this store for more than 30 years. I will never spend another dime there. My battery died in my 1948 Plymouth. It runs a 6-volt system, but usually I buy 8-volt batteries for them for the extra cranking power. However, this time, my truck was in the shop and I had to have it to drive. I came into this store on Saturday. The guy behind the counter told me the 6-volt battery they had had more cranking amps than the 8-volt I was turning in.When I hooked it up, it wouldn't even barely turn the motor over. So I took it off and took it back Monday. There was no damage to the posts, no damage to the battery whatsoever. I told the guy behind the counter it wouldn't do what they said it would do. He said, "So you installed it?""Well, yeah," I said. "I kind of had to.""Well then you can't return it. That's our policy."I said, "OK," and walked out thinking, that's the last cent I'll ever spend in this store. So I'm out $150 because their employees told me this battery would start my car and it didn't. Their stock is mostly cheap Chinese junk anyways. But, since I live so close, I still would go there for things like oil, brake pads and simple stuff. No more. I will drive the extra distance to O'Reilly's.Interestingly, I went to O'Reilly's after that and there happened to be a regional manager there. I asked him, "Just out of curiosity, what's your store's policy on returning batteries?" He said, "If there's no damage, we take them back." When I told him about my experience a few minutes prior at Advance Auto Parts, his jaw dropped. He said, "Man, that's garbage. I'm sorry. We're big on customer service here."I have two classic cars, my truck, my wife's truck and soon my daughter's vehicle. I do almost all my own maintenance, which means I spend a fair amount of money in auto parts stores. I can guarantee you this, it will not be at this store.

I’ve been going to the Mandarin location for many years and have always had a positive experience! Employees go out of their way to help. They will go out to my car (when necessary) and help if possible (with minor issues).

I went to Advance for wiper blades. Dawnie found the right size for my car and updated my Advance account info. Steve installed the blades. Dawnie and Steve took good care of me.

Ridiculously poor customer service was rude, agressive, dismissive, and pushy. I stopped interacting with him and a second employee finished my checkout. His attitude was so bad towards me that he would have been fired if they believed in customer service. I will go to other parts stores and stay away from that advance auto parts.

Husband picked up what was needed to do his oil change. They had everything he needed. I went in this week to pick up a door dash order (yep. I Dashed some brake rotors?) and the guy at the counter was very helpful and carried everything out to the car for me

On entering at the front door. An employee was taking a break smoking a cigarette. Blowing smoke all over everyone. Nice to enter the building with fog of smoke. Bleach blonde, hair in pony tail with ball cap, glasses looked like her name started with a D and her last initial was D on her shirt. May want to help her find a new place to smoke.3:06 on Saturday 7/23. I'm sure you can pull an employee sheet and figure it out
