Don't understand this place. They never have anything in stock. Check engine light is on and went to get codes read only to find out the reader is broken... or too lazy to help a customer out. Do yourself a favor and find a better nearby auto store

Johnathan was VERY VERY HELPFUL!!!! He helped me find the right windshield wiper blades for my car and he even came out IN THE RAIN to help me install them! Amazing customer service, please consider giving the man a raise!

First of all, I never provide reviews but was compelled to do so after my experience at the Atlantic Blvd & Girvin Road location today. Roughly a month ago, I went to the Atlantic Beach location and encountered a helpful associate regarding a battery for my sons Yamaha dirt bike. The associate took about 10 minutes to cross reference and determine the correct battery and although they didn’t have one in stock referred me to the Atlantic / Girvin store. I purchased the battery and installed it the following weekend, however it was dead, which I confirmed with a mechanic. From there, I drove to the Yamaha dealership in Gainesville and bought another battery. Fast forward to today- I returned to the Atlantic / Girvin location for a refund where I was told “the battery has been used and there’s nothing they can do.” “Glad to check the charge for you.” I responded the battery is dead and I’d like a refund. “Sorry sir we can’t provide a refund.” Ok fine, how about a store credit or how about another battery? Can’t you do something? “No sir, there’s nothing we can do, but we can check the battery for you”….frustrated and in disbelief, I left the battery and receipt sitting on the store counter. “Have a nice day sir.” Ridiculous encountering someone so unwilling to make a wrong right.. It’s not about the money but the principle.. As a business owner, why would anyone ever go back to this store or shop with Advance Auto? Zero stars wouldn’t capture the disappointment of my experience.

Horrible customer service didn’t even try to see if battery was under warranty when car wouldn’t start acts like all advanced auto parts aren’t 1 Company Never buying from here again and employees don’t care

Don't go thereThey put my battery backwards 3 weeks ago and still haven't made it right. I ve called the district manager with no response. I ve numerous attempts to reach out to the establishment for my repairs only for them to waste my time. The experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I am being forced to legal action just to get my car on the road.Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere.

This advance Auto parts has been my go-to near home store for the past 4 years. Never once have I had an unsolvable problem or rude employee. I've had a few little hiccups like things with store policy, but it's always been resolved. I've been there probably almost 50 to 60 times and I've always been treated like family, I've never felt like I was stupid for not knowing something, and I've always gotten help with finding something or finding the best of something. These employees are really here just to make sure that you get the best bang for your buck, and it makes me very appreciative. Thank you for always having my back and my cars back ☺️
