After the local ***** dealer installed a new clutch in my 93 Corvette I began having transmission problems. Within 200 miles it was no longer drivable. The dealer refused to stand behind their work and said the transmission must have been bad before I brought it in. (BS) They also said they couldnt fix it because it was a rare transmission and no parts were available. I called every transmission place I could find in ******* and everyone said the same thing, sorry but no parts are available. Then I found ***. It did take longer than he expected to fix due to parts delays from COVID and the rarity of the transmission, but he kept me updated and the Vette runs great now. It wasnt cheap, but nothing good ever is. If it wasnt for *** I would have had to sell the car for parts. Cant say enough good about him or his work.

Been seeing Kens ads on ********** for years, so when it was time for a transmission I knew who to go to! *** made everything so easy! I called him we talked business, he kept me in the loop during the entire process and made me feel at ease doing business with a company 7 hrs away. He helped me every step of the way and answered all my questions throughly and happily. I cant recommend them enough as my new trans is doing great! Thank you *** and extreme overdrive for selling such quality rebuilds.

False Advertising!! Company posts in a online used auto parts category. After seeing their ads, I decided to contact them and inquire about their transmission rebuild for my vehicle. I asked if the advertised price was correct and I was told "Learn how to read the add not just the headline that is not the price"". I told Ken the price was shown twice in the add for my transmission, and again was told to read past the headline. I sent him a copy of their posting to verify, I was told "When you get a better idea how to read let me know Laughing my #@$ off". This whole conversation is via text and email which I have copies of, of course. I was told "I don't want you as a customer cause you want the cheapest thing you can find". So I ask what customer/person don't want the best product at the cheapest price? Bottom line is company used word trickery to get people to contact them for a cheap price only to turn around and insult them for doing it..

I heard about this business from a friend. I did a search and found his number and gave him a call. I have a 95 4x4 Suburban that I tow my 26' travel trailer as well as use as my everyday ride. When my tax return came I was ready to get a new transmission as my 4L60 E was dying. After speaking with Ken I knew he was competent and passionate. He quoted me a price, described exactly what I needed and what I was getting, delivered it 350 miles to Athens 2 days later at the exact time he promised. He followed up with me during installation and answered questions I had. The transmission is performing great so far and I feel it will continue to do so. I went through 5 transmission's in my 03 tahoe in 7 months i am extremely hard on a truck but extreme has made me happy finnaly went through the rest finnaly got the best i have very high recomendations for anyone needing a real transmission built

Ken is awesome! Very patient with me during the TV cable adjustment.... This shop delivered this 700R4 on time. I am excited and VERY pleased with Ken and Extreme Overdrives. I will suggest these guys to anyone who asks. Unit is exactly as we discussed before assembly. Thank You Ken. I sure appreciate all the help and support.

This shop did some maintenance and repairs for me, the shop was honest and explained exactly what was needed and why. The work was completed in a day without issue. I would highly recommend this shop and I will continue to use them based off my past experience.

I have a 1994 Chevy Suburban with a 10in lift with 14in wide wheels. At 200k, the stock transmission couldnt take the abuse. I call them up, spoke with Ken and he asked me every single detail about the truck so he could build the PERFECT transmission. Low and behold, I got exactly what i wanted with a new tq converter. Transmission is strong and the shift firmness is perfect and snappy. I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone that wants a transmission built right!!!! Great job guys!!!!!! ********* *********
