They are in jax beach. Tons of people riding bikes. They have a bunch of Aventon adverts. I have an Aventon. So imagine my surprise when this useless, barren middle aged blonde white lady tells me they don’t specialize in “Aventon” so I should go to their other locations or come back later maybe they can do normal basic maintenance. I’m like what about some oil for chain? Straight looks me in the eye with contempt and says “I’m not doing it” and crosses me off waitlist..

If I could leave a minus star review I would. Over two and a half moths ago I call them to come pick up my scooter. Bingo! that very day they came up to Fernandina Beach to get it, for $120.00 it has been over two and a half months since and they still have done nothing! They told me six weeks ago they were waiting on parts ( I told them to just buy a new carburetor instead of trying to overhaul the old one. I find out later that they have never ordered the part.) I said it's bee over two month and they said, "Well, we like to take our time and do things right". I said "that's fine if your working on, then yes, I would appreciate you doing it right. I've asked to speak with Martin, the owner a dozen times and left that many messages....nothing form him. Nothing but the run around, time after time. THIS WAS THE WORST EVER!! STAY AWAY!!!

Worst buying experience of my life. They either avoid calls or flat out lie. After 2 and a half months of problems every single step of the way they have now taken so long to deal with the tags for the bike that I have expired temporary plates on the bike and they are simply stringing me along with lie after lie of when things will be taken care of. A month ago, it would be all set in a few weeks. A week and a half ago after not hearing anything from them, I called and they said Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. No call this week. Called them Friday. They were "picking up the tags this afternoon, come to the shop first thing tomorrow." Stood outside until they opened the doors at 10:15 (supposed to open at 10) and they still don't have them, come back later. Absolute garbage business with people who don't care a single bit about customers, do absolutely nothing to make good on their end, and simply are the most unreliable, dishonest business I have dealt with to date.Plenty of other bike shops around, avoid Solano Cycles at all costs or you will regret it.

Believe the reviews!!!! Poorly organized and unprofessional. I was told I was on a waiting list 45 days ago. Called to check in where I was. She said she would put me on a waiting list then her cell phone rang and she said she would have to call me back?! No response Just don't go here!!!

They are just poorly organized for repairs. Nobody knows what's going on. Called 5 times and promised a callback. Went there and was told to call on Monday. Had my moped for 3 weeks and no closer to getting it back or knowing when.

Updated review: since purchasing my scooter from Solano JB location the sales person and service tech is no longer there. I have paint missing from the front finder, which is how the piece came out the box. The original sale persons told me, when I arrived to purchase my bike(in full, no payments), the piece has already been ordered and will take 6wks. Fast forward to Dec 17th, I called to ask about an eta(winter break was approaching, perfect timing to replace the piece). Long story short, it's Jan 29th...the piece was never order, Nina at the JB location gave me the run around the 1st week I was calling her. Since, she has yet to return ANY of my phone calls. I have a year warranty on my scooter. I have had to reached out to another location which has been a bit of a struggle as well.

Gave them my scooter for almost a month. I had to call them to get any sort of update. Ladies at the front desk refuse to call you. You have to keep checking in asking for updates or nothing will get done. They couldn’t tell me anything every time I called….”tech just left for the day I’ll call you tomorrow (then don’t call) …tech was sick today I’ll call ya tomorrow (no call)…” well what about the other 25 days you had it in the shop?? Ended up just going there to get my scooter and they claimed nothing was done, even though I saw a tech working on it a few weeks before while driving by, that’s why I called the next day for an update. People have no clue what’s going on… faking it till they make it I guess. Take the time your going to waste with them and put it towards driving over the bridge to a shop that gets it.

I should have Believed the Yelp review!! This place is AWFUL! Non-responsive to calls, emails or requests for help. I purchased a scooter there earlier this month, and once out the door they do not care. ALL SALES FINAL. WE ONLY COVER PARTS! BUYER BEWARE. I have tried emailing, calling (I guess if you are the boss you never go to work!) and no response. The bartender/mechanic told me "you get what you pay for" when I told him the throttle was not as responsive as it should be. Then he walked away!!! When is YELP going to allow us to give zero stars for poor service. I did contact the Better Business Bureau for their assistance!

My son's moped was in their shop for months waiting on a part so it could be fixed. It was only 2 weeks old. Come to find out it had been stolen by an ex employee with a key. The ex employee sold the moped to someone else for 1400. The moped was gone from their shop for a month or longer before they noticed. The moped was recovered by Jax Beach Police Department and is in their property room. My son and I went get it. It is barely recognizable and undrivable. The shop owner told me that he we would pick up the moped and take it back to the shop because I believe that I shouldn't have to pay for a tow. That was two weeks ago. I feel like this matter is not a high priority for him. I am very frustrated. I just want Solano to do the right thing and pick up the moped, repair all damages incurred due to the theft including body work and motor work. I feel like I'm getting the run around and may have to contact a lawyer to help in this situation which is extremely disappointing.
