A local owned spot that seems like kind of a hidden secret but shouldn’t be. The prices are excellent, they have a full selection of everything you need from surf boards and wax to rash guards, sun shirts, and apparel, and the owner is super friendly. It’s kind of deceiving from the front but definitely stop in and they will most likely have what you need with great service and a better price than the more commercial surf shops.

Jim Austin's Surf Shop in Jax Beach is the best local surf spot for all your beach and surfing needs. I usually come in and chat and talk surf stories and always leave with a bar of wax or something to show my support. This review is in support of Austin's Surf Shop.

Love Austin made my day today on lunch break grabbing some wax and helping me find an item no other surf shop in the area had! Definitely be back for a board or 2 ;) he even offered to take time out of his day to look at my current board. So sweet thanks again!

Austin is the man! While bumming around Jax Beach I stumbled in his awesome beach shack. This 1930’s old Florida surf shop is a local relic. A MUST see.

We’re just touring around the city and came across this shop. We really loved the shop, the owner is really nice and cool, and you can tell it’s a local staple of the city. We will definitely come back next time we are in town, and hopefully we can buy a surfboard! Check out this shop, it’s worth the stop!

Awesome little place in the heart of Jax Beach! Walked in with my daughter while looking for her first surfboard. We were looking for used boards and their selection was great and the prices were even better! Super nice, even made sure she had wax on the way out!

Cool little surf shop that I spot in to get tshirts for my dad. The owner is super nice and welcoming. They have a pretty good selection of men's shirts and apparel. Stop in and show your local business some love. They also have surf boards, body boards and a few skate boards.
