We have been going to this clinic for about two years and I love having a cat only clinic close to home. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. I bring both my senior cats here and I trust the doctors and staff. We recently had a dental cleaning (very much needed) which went well. This is the only place I’ve ever felt comfortable enough to leave my fur babies at. I cannot recommend this place enough.

My cat was diagnosed with HCM after a visit to the groomer at San Pablo Hospital. Previously, a doctor at A Cat Clinic had recommended having his teeth removed, which would have been fatal if I had followed her advice.
Despite claiming to be specialists in cats, they are not. After a visit to their clinic for routine blood tests and urine samples, my cat screamed in distress. Later, he was shivering and panting. The receptionist was indifferent, as evidenced by her careless response, which was overheard by others.
I urge you to take your cat to someone who truly cares. Best wishes to all the cats whose owners avoid this dreadful place.

Dr. Porter and the staff at the Jax Beach location are some of the kindest people. Vet visits can be very stressful for both pets and pet parents, but Dr. Porter and team are pros at making the experience as smooth as possible. Our cats are given time to adjust to their surroundings, smell the new people and tools being used, and receive knowledgable vet care. We are very lucky to have found them!

This is the place to go no question! This is our second visit to them Immediately upon arrival you can sense how much the staff genuinely cares. I know there are a lot of veterinarians but let's face it most of them are dog oriented if you want the extra care for your cat an to not be looked down at for asking a million questions take them here. My first visit Dr.Waylin was able to determine my orange tabby had a urinary blockage within two minutes of being in the room which saved his life❤️ our second visit was today for just a check up and shots for my cal/tab an it went great Dr.porter and her nurse were gentle and thorough she also announced what she was doing as she was examining which is always comforting I couldn't say enough good things about this place from my two short visits this is an hour after our visit an she's not even hiding cat clinic is the spot

We had dental work done on our cat Simon. 8 teeth removed. I was nervous because Simon is my baby and had a cough but they assured me that he was in good hands and he was. We went to the beach office. We originally had an appointment 2 months away but thankfully we got on the cancellation list and got in 2 months earlier. Simon has always been a very happy, very cuddly cat but I think he's even more happier and it seems even more cuddley now that his bad teeth are gone.During his first visit/checkup they noticed an error the previous clinic missed and updated his meds and they also treated his ear with something that worked. He's always had itchy ears and none of the other meds from any of the previous clinics worked successfully.

Best experience at the Vet we have ever had ! It’s been a struggle for our 15 year old calico going to the vet for years , so sadly we avoided going . She’s always been very healthy but recently had a healthy scare . They took her in so sweetly and made her feel as calm as I’ve ever seen her at the vet .. thank you ladies for taking such good care of our girl . We will continue to take her here for any of her future health needs ! We found our place finally .

Have been to both the Jax Beach location and San Jose location. Both are staffed by very kind staff and veterinarians. You can tell that they enjoy their careers taking care of felines !

Where to start with this great practice?! "A Cat Clinic" name indicates dedicating the attention to THE cat, and they deliver. Dr. Porter & Dr. Jones, as well as Darla & all the team members I experienced, were delightful, welcoming, accommodating, compassionate, and genuinely helpful. I'm impressed by their quality, quite fortunate & appreciative that they take care of my boys when needed.

Dr. Roger's and her staff cared for our Tuntzie, until she died in 2021. We aren't quite ready for another kitty, yet but when we are, no other practice will be it's caregiver but A Cat Clinic in Jax Beach!
