This place is paradise! So many options for how to spend your day. Relax in the chairs in the sand, sun or shade, your choice. Nap in a hammock. Picnic under the tiki hut or tables by the water. Or enjoy more active pursuits, like snorkeling, swimming, or kayaking. We saw many fish and some lobsters while snorkeling. We even saw sea turtle off the dock.The grounds are stunningly beautiful, and the cottages are cozy and charming. Once you enter these gates, a peaceful tropicalworld welcomes you. With only a few cottages, it’s not crowded and feels removed from the hustle and bustle and stress. Sunsets are romantic and beautiful, and the water is clear and full of life and color.Staff pays excellent attention to detail and is tremendously helpful and welcoming. Owner is a super nice guy also. My husband and I brought our dog (Yorkie) and our Sea Doo. Plenty of space for parking the Sea Doo, and the staff is very considerate and inviting for dogs.I can’t say enough about this place, so I’ll leave it at this… I’m coming back as frequently as possible for as long as possible.

Super place. Dog friendly!Nice quiet spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Has boat docking.Beautiful place to swim. The housekeeping and groundskeeper do an over the top job. If you're looking for a place to get loud and rowdy, drive on by. It's not for you.We stay here twice a year, it's the BEST place to unwind and relax. Whether you're having some drinks and watching the sunset, with the other guests, on the dock or sitting around the nightly fire, oceanside, it is so FUN and RELAXING.Has a nice sand area by the water and FANTASTIC swimming.

Love white gate. The manager, the staff and the owner are so genuinely welcoming and accomodating. Our favorite place to vacation ? beautiful and relaxing . We love you white gate ?!!!!

This place holds our hearts dear. We love coming here several times a year to meet old friends. Even seeing several people from previous visits. We make up a vacation family! White Gate gives us the tranquility from the large resorts. Dogs welcome if you travel with yours. This is my Keys Dream. Can't wait to be back in a few months!

This place is a true gem in Key West. I couldn't believe I've been to KW so many times and not been to Ruby's. Firstly, a great place to visit as a family and feed these giant tarpon.... what a great experience, and the best part is the entry for everyone We didn't eat in the restaurant as we just stopped by to check it out, the bar was packed, we put some dollar bills on the wall? They were doing a bunch of snorkeling trips right off the dock not sure of the cost. They have their own merchandise to sell and the entire property is beautiful and there is so much to explore.

I’m here right now and I don’t want to leave! We’re thinking about getting a group of ppl together and renting all the cottages. This place is well kept, awesome location, staff is beyond helpful and friendly and it’s truly a pet friendly establishment (not just pet tolerant). As long as your pet is well behaved and socialized they don’t have to be on a leash. I don’t want to give away too many best kept secrets of this place because I want to save it all for myself. Better than any all inclusive I’ve been too and you can’t beat the price for the Keys. Nice sunsets…..a must try if you’re interested in experiencing the old school Keys.Nearby activities: Restaurants, boatingSafety: Quiet and secludedWalkability: Smaller resort….easier to walk

This was the most relaxing and friendly atmosphere that I have experienced on vacation. It is just a short drive to restaurants and the grocery, but you feel so secluded when you are there.

white gate court is very old style Keys resort . "Old"being the operative word. it is very rustic and in need of an update . if nothing else they should at least buy new linens as the current ones are at the end of their useful life. it could alsouse a really good cleaning especially the bathroom/toilets. it is a beautiful location and if grunge and bugs don't bother you it is an amazing spot hang out in terms of access to the water . Dog and boat friendly ....... the people were also very nice and seemed willing to accommodate any of our requests. Bring your bug spray and enjoy !

White Gate Court is a slice of heaven for anyone who enjoys a relaxed, casual and natural atmosphere, especially if you want to enjoy it with your spoiled dog. The cottages are clean and cozy with the basic necessities if you like to eat in, including an outdoor grill. Lovely views, and private beach with options for both sun and shade seating. Bikes, kayaks, and floaties available. A tiki hut, hammocks, and large ice maker are awesome bonuses. Sunsets from the resort are not to be missed! All staff are efficient and friendly. Jane Amador, the office manager, is very responsive and helpful.

We are here with 2 other couples. the rooms are quiet, the mattress has no sagging, the full size fridge is wonderful, the air conditioning is working great! The dock is clean, in great condition, lots of outdoor areas to relax in. The landscaping is kept up and neat. This property has great essentials and is in a wonderful location. I can see why our friends have been coming for years.

Excellent stay. This was my first time here in close to 15 years and it’s just a nice - or even better - than I remember. I highly recommend for anyone, especially if you want to bring your dog with you. I didn’t bring my dogs with me but enjoyed the dogs that were here with other guests. The staff is friendly but not intrusive, helpful but not overbearing and the amenities are wonderful - hammocks, a fire pit, grills at each cottage, kayaks, a dock for boats and a great place to hang out or snorkel under. What’s also great here is the property itself, especially that you can enjoy views of both sunrises and sunsets. I am looking forward to the next time I can be here - hopefully next year.
