Grocery Stores in Islamorada, FL

“Great experience at the Islamorada Publix today! This is a fairly new store and it looks gorgeous inside and out. The Florida Sun will take care of that in a few years but it's so nice going into such a perfect store for now. The layout is different from what I'm used to over in the Melbourne, FL area, but I really like it! There's an aisle cut out through the center so you can jump between aisles without having to go all the way to the end each time. Very cool.

So I've been on a journey to find Pineapple Spindrift for the past two months. Every Publix I go to is out. I'm down here in the keys on vacation and I swing by the water aisle just to check and there it is in all its glory! A full facing of Pineapple Spindrift! I had a raincheck from the last time they were but one get one free, but with my luck, it expired two days ago. With classic Publix style amazing customer service though, the manager gladly accepted it. He also gave me a good tip I never knew (see below).

This is a fantastic Publix location! Highly recommended.

Pro tip: You can ask the manager to "special order" any item missing off the shelf. They'll order it, contact you when it comes in, and even set it aside for you.”

“Husband is a key lime pie connoisseur and he liked the Key Lime Pie Lady’s pie more than the one he got from the Blond Giraffe. The Trading Post is also a well stocked store with meats, wine, beer and gifts. I highly recommend the pre packaged pasta salad from the back cooler. I wish I had bought more than one!”

“This store was a hidden gem on our vacation. They have a small meat counter in the back that had the best beef I had ever eaten. I purchased ribeyes, filet and ground beef. The staff is super friendly. My son had the Key Lime Pie and said it was the best.”

“Very claim mobile gas station. Most inventory of snacks and drinks inside. Clean restrooms. I appreciate the friendly staff when we stopped to refuel and take a quick little break.”

“I'm typically not one to write reviews for grocery stores but this one deserves a serious shout out. In particular the pharmacy. I realized during the hustle of packing that I had forgotten to pack my mental health medication. The pharmacist was able to quickly transfer my prescription from Ohio and while they did not have it in stock he patiently called other stores in the area and was able to find it in another location not to far from where we are staying and they were able to have it ready by the time we arrived. The rest of the staff were also so friendly and helpful. They also have a wonderful selection of groceries, juices, and my son loves riding around in the car grocery carts!”
