Place served its purpose had an Rv spot. Beautiful beach area to sit and relax and look at the ocean. End of pier place to sit and relax. Resort is used loosely. Not much amenities. Does have a ramp to dock our kayaks.Place is in a good location tool Site seeing in Islamadora. Place needs a lot of upgrades Was under impression when I booked site a year ago. That I had full hookups. When I got there ended up with w&e site and full hookups were for the employees. Also no dump station. I talk to a different person at front desk than the person now. They weren’t even there when I booked spot. If they were there I would not have booked it. The instructions should be sent for Rv site not just the hotel so there is no discrepancy. Just for future reference.

The owner/manager is a LOSER. Run very unprofessionally and the managementis terrible. The person who runs their email legitimately cant read or write or speak a comprehensive sentence without getting upset. Also they have tempers and cant speak with people on a coherent level.

Although they say Hotel and Marina this place does not cater to guest bringing boats at all! It is the keys after all… I generally do not leave bad reviews but our latest vacation in the keys was just about ruined by the experience me and my fiancé had at this hotel. We called a week in advance of our stay to ask about the site and if we were able to bring a boat. The female receptionist I spoke to said absolutely and then said if I planned on using their marina (which is a shallow unusable boat ramp and sketchy unstable dock) that I would be charged a $45 daily fee. I said that we were not going to keep the boat in the water and just needed parking for the boat and trailer. She said we would not be charged and it would be included in our initial charge for the room. We ended up getting charged an additional 190$ for our stay for using their marina… we will be disputing this charge. To make matters worse they have a policy that is not listed anywhere on any of their websites that they do not allow you to rinse off your boat or flush your engine anywhere on the property. This is basic maintenance for boat owners and a necessity if bringing a boat for multiple days in a saltwater environment! The solution from them is find a car wash which to be transparent there is no self service car washes with a spigot to wash your boat within 50 miles I checked… The first day an employee told me about the policy I was visibly upset and said I never would have booked this place if I knew that as I am not going to let my boat engine fishing rods and trailer rust away from saltwater corrosion. He let me wash my boat and flush my engine that day. The second day I come back from a day of fishing and go to flush my engine about 20 seconds after starting my engine the owner starts screaming at the top of his lungs from the balcony of his place telling me to shut it off and stop what I am doing. We got into an argument and he screamed at me “ to have some decency” among other things that are not appropriate. It was like I was vandalizing the property or doing something malicious. It has been a very long time since I was disrespected like this by anyone. To the owner you should have come down and spoke to me face to face like a man and offered some sort of viable solution instead you hid on the top floor and yelled like a insecure little boy in front of the entire property. Update your website and make it known you will not tolerate washing boats or flushing the engine. You also need to make sure your entire staff knows all of your ridiculous policies and rules before answering the phone. Now on to the room I should have gotten a credit from having to become a pest control technician as I killed half a dozen large cockroaches before I ever put any of our stuff in your disgusting room. There was food caked on all of the dishes. The room smelled strong of mildew and mold. There was drywall peeled back on the walls. The pictures are very deceiving, Absolutely the worst possible stay in the entire Florida keys. Happy we were able to go and catch fish all 3 days we stayed and the keys are as beautiful as it gets. Take this as a fair warning if you are bringing a boat or any watercraft do not stay here you are not welcomed at this property.

We had a car malfunction, and it happened to pull over to Coconut Cove. The owners are super nice, they try to help with whatever they could, offering phone, Internet and what's more important, their time, trying to assist us. Unfortunately we couldn't spend more time, but we are very grateful for their help & service. The place is very well maintained, the outdoor space is amazing like a little paradise. We highly recommend Coconut Cove and hope to return for a longer stay. Thank you again guys ?

We made a quick stop here on route back from Key West. They are still remodeling the rooms, but looking at what they did with the surroundings already, it will certainly be a place where I would like to spend a couple of days to relax! ??

ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!Where do I begin. We were desperate as we had an early morning fishing trip planned and really wanted to explore the keys on our drive back from Key West. The pictures looked nice and I didn't even read the reviews. I called and booked two nights. I can do dated and beachy. What I can't do is mold and unsafe. As we walked through the "lobby area" of our building the floors were carpeted and from the 70s. They haven't been cleaned and it smelled awful. When we got to the room all I could smell was bleach. I saw a lot of mold and smelled a lot of bleach. The shower was a tub with no shower curtain. Moldy curtains. And just disgusting. The bed had hairs in it and I found a sock in the bedding. IT HAD NOT BEEN WASHED! The door did not lock. And the sliding class door to the patio was also jammed and did not lock. My husband took a nap (before we found the sock) and I sat outside on the patio because the bleach smell was so strong. I knew he was going to be upset with me as we just spent 800 dollars on 2 nights but there was no way I would be able to sleep there. I felt like a diva but there was just no way. That's when I kind of looked at the bedding and found a sock in the sheets!!!!I honestly wouldn't even let my dog sleep in that room. After looking up other hotels we had to drive an hour south for another hotel room as everything in that area was booked. When we decided to leave 45 mins later we went to return our key. The short lady said no refunds. I was very upset but you could tell in her face she does this daily. To her it's just a job and I understand that but the whole situation sucked. After a few months of fighting it with the credit card company we were refunded!!!! But after reading other reviews others were not so lucky.

Read all of the negative reviews before you book The standard response for negative reviews " we have no record of you staying here ". Well, I did stay there. It was horrible. Great location. Beautiful view and facility. FILTHY ROOMS. GROSS. FILTHY bedding. Stay somewhere else. You get what you pay for. The people next door had se# half the night....loud. sleep for me ? Nope. She was a screamer They had se# at least three times. Loud. Glad he was fast about it. The pillows smelled like cat urine , sweat and body odor. The pillow cases hadn't been changed in GOD KNOWS HOW LONG, were covered in makeup, sweat and other body fluids. I didn't bother using the shower. The air conditioning removed zero humidity from the air. We were wet and cold.....or wet and hot. There was no in-between. The padded toilet seat was nice touch. Lolol I slept with my clothes on.....even my socks. And I hate cats. Cat foot prints in my car. Cat hair in the halls. WHY do you allow cats to run wild ?? Gross.

I came here 19 years ago with my highschool boyfriend’s mom and came back this week and spent a couple nights here. It was just as lovely as I remembered and I enjoyed it even more with my children. The place is very quaint and carries the vibe of the keys. We stayed in the admiral’s room and it was cozy and convenient! The place is beautiful! It’s very family friendly, my kids loved being able to swim any hour (24hr pool). There are sweet felines that we would have taken home if we could! The place is very home. The tiki bar was great, my husband and I had a great time having drinks and conversing with other guests and management! If you like serenity and are in the area & need a place to stay I highly recommend Coconut Cove!!

The bar was still closed when we stayed there. And we had walk down to see the view of the ocean but that was very nice. I loved that we had a tub. It's a quaint place, and quiet. It was great.

If it were more affordable, it might be acceptable. It provided the basics, a bed which they advertised as a queen, but is actually a full size mattress and is apparently about 9 years old. The room also boasts a futon, best used for stowing luggage, as there is no other place for it. The bathroom has all the necessary facilities, but lacks the water pressure for a proper shower. An oversized computer monitor serves as a TV. Overall, the stay was a disappointment mostly because this place is what goes for a couple hundred a night in this area.Rooms: Small and dingy with furniture, a broke college student wouldn't want.Noteworthy details: The walls are paper thin, you can hear EVERYTHING; conversations, bathroom use and traffic noise being the most notable. Unfortunately we had a very unhappy and unstable couple in the room next to us. We were subjected to an argument with language that would make a sailor blush. Listening to an angry couple scream at each about divorce using very descriptive expletives is unfortunately the most memorable part of our experience in room 19.

We happened to find the outside place on accident at night and didn't see any private signs so we ended up lying down, closer to the water. The manager of the establishment came by in a complete drunken rage, yelling at us grabbing our campfire equipment throwing it in the water with no initial request to leave, and starting screaming profanities at my girlfriend and me. I hope this man gets called out on how he treats human beings because this was unacceptable for an honest mistake on our part yet a travesty in hospitality on his end. We were thinking of taking a few days off at this place until he showed up and showed us who was running this place. Shame on you mister for the way you disrespected and treated us.

First time staying here. We normally stay down the road. Looks like we find a new getaway. Great place to stay. Renne at the front desks was amazing. Definitely will be back. Very clean room and grounds.
