We went for our honeymoon and got a room in the main building overlooking the water. We had the most memorable stay. The people were amazing, all the restaurants and bars on site were incredible but one bartender in particular stood out. Vince runs the bar in the lobby 3 nights a week and is the most friendly and enjoyable person to be around. We went to his bar both nights we were here and had the best time. He makes the best drinks and gives great suggestions for places to visit while in Islamorada and can point you to things to do if you're like us and had no itinerary. We already can't wait to come back again to stay at this beautiful resort! Five stars all around - highly recommend you book here!
Noteworthy details: Another great feature to the resort is their 24hr shuttle service anywhere within 2 miles. It was great to be able to explore other places off the property without having to drive. The shuttle wait time was always quick and all the drivers were great!

The place is beautiful but extremely expensive for the poor food, too bad and too expensive. The service at the restaurant is terrible, the quality of the service is terrible except for the homemade ones, I am referring to Kevin, excellent service from Kevin, this made our stay a little bit happier, it is a shame that the restaurants have such bad service and the food is so bad.

Frist time staying here and stayed based on reviews of from internet and other friends. Will definitely stay again! Food and service were excellent. Stayed oceanfront room with wonderful views. Definitely stay here again!

Everything was absolute perfection except they had the slowest outside pool bar ever. Drinks were excellent, but those two bartenders couldn’t keep up with service drinks. (Pool service)

Wish I could do more than 5 stars! Just finished up our wedding weekend at cheeca lodge and it was everything we could’ve dreamed of. We live relatively close by and are familiar with Cheeca so when we began planning the wedding it was our clear choice. Jo was our go to contact at the resort and was very knowledgeable and easy to work with in all the planning stages. My finance had probably 1,000 emails back and forth and she was very attentive and patient with every one. We did our food tasting with John the head of events and he was amazing. Truly took wonderful care of us and helped make our big day go very smooth. We rented an ocean front casita for our stay and the property is unbelievable beautiful. Upon arrival Maria helped us get settled and made sure we had everything needed for the perfect weekend. Kevin was our personal concierge for the stay and did a wonderful job, he was very friendly and personable. Can’t say enough good things about the staff. Our ceremony and cocktail hour were on the beach, it was beautiful. The guests were so well taken care of and it went so smooth. The staff helped shuttle everyone over to the new Islamorada ball room which cheeca has recently added that is absolutely stunning, the reception was inside and was flawless. Food, drinks and butler passed appetizers were amazing. The staff, our vendors and day of wedding planner Ivette all worked together seamlessly to create the hands down ideal wedding. My wife has said to me countless times in the following days that she got the fairytale wedding she’d always wanted. Highly recommend Cheeca lodge & spa for any stay/event big or small!

Food is not very good and is very overpriced. Drinks are also pricey and not made correctly. Beautiful place to stay.

A Hilton experience at absurd Ritz Carlton prices (we live near 3 Ritz's in Miami, so know what they charge and what you receive in return). Service was excellent in the Atlantic's Edge restaurant, but dismissive/non-existent/untrained elsewhere. Oh- and triple check your bill. We found a $200 error at check-out; their answer after I insisted they fix it: "we fixed it" (no apology). Too many other examples over only 2-nights to go into, but we will never return.

This place is awesome. The location is great, the views spectacular, the amenities and restaurants excellent, and the team AMAZING. Met at the curb by Roger, welcomed into the resort by Maureen and the front desk staff, rooms kept tip top by Natalie and her team, met with smiles and laughter every day for breakfast by Cassandra. Highly recommend.

I give this place 5 stars! Everyone was so nice. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great. When we arrived Tyanna P checked us in she was so positive and helpful and kind. She took care of us and started our stay with excellent customer service!! I will tell others of this place because of her she was great!! Thank you

My husband and I spent 5 days at Cheeca for our honeymoon the first week of September and we had the best time! Abreshia was so friendly and helpful during our check in process, Ian was always kind and quick with getting our car at valet, and all the other staff we encountered were eager to be of service. We stayed in a Premier oceanfront king suite and absolutely loved it. We were especially stoked about being on the ground level so we had private walkout access to the beach. We used our patio tub almost every day. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The enjoyed every meal we had on property but you certainly pay a premium for the convenience. Which made the fabulous location of the resort another bonus. We had several delicious meals and enjoyed shopping off the resort as there was plenty of stuff within minutes. My husband also enjoyed the small golf course on property!
