Went to this TJ maxx to look for Halloween decorations for our home. Upon searching we came across a cute pumpkin statue with a hat. The rim of that hat had an inch sized chip/hole in it. I then picked it up and went to one of the two managers on the floor working and asked if there was any way for a discount? I showed her the damage and she then looked at it and said she would have to “take it off the floor” because of the extend of damage. I then asked why and she said because “it was a liability to them”. I proceeded to ask if she would be throwing it away as I was offering to buy it then and there. She completely dodged the question and repeated what she had said earlier “I have to take it off the floor because it is a liability to us”. So I said ok, I was disappointed and went to check out. Upon getting up to checkout I saw 2 other instances of damaged Halloween goods which also posed risk yet they still purchased those items. I understand corporate policy but it should be mandatory for all.

Came in looking for an outfit for a job interview. All they had was jeans. And jeans in weird sizes. Baggy jeans, skinny jeans, pull on jeans. But no dress pants. Weird blouses that are just too short or too long, no in between. I’ve found a few things here but 80% of the time it’s a miss. Oh well. Go here if you’re looking for some jeans

Their credit card is GARBAGE with Synchrony bank.
Please do yourself a favor, and do not apply for such an unnecessary thing! It only gives you the 10% on your first purchase. And then never again, it’s actually worst than a regular credit card, predatory interests!

I personally have always enjoyed going to TJ Maxx , they have amazing prices, as well as some of the most highest end products at lower rates. The stores are always clean, courteous , and check out time is a breeze.

Bonnie at TJ Maxx was a standout in our scavenger hunt for our friends who are getting married.
