When I got my cable put in my house.. spectrum employee who handled me DID NOT tell me I had to buy the xumo streaming box..all he said was it's my cheapest choice..only $5 a month so I assumed it was like the cable box but cheaper..I assumed it was a rental like all the other equipment..now I'm stuck with a box that is glitchy at best..plus calling me asking how come the boxes where Not being hooked up..so I'm being monitored??.I'm very disappointed in my spectrum service..now I'm stuck with em false advertisement I strongly feel!!

Called today about bad internet speed and sometimes none at all. Also, the equipment has been exposed on the ground and uncovered for months. The girl said that the latter was an automatic elevation for an instant appointment... Nope. They can't come until the weekend and my cable sucks. If there's another option, I'll be taking it..... STAY AWAY!!

Spectrum Store at Inverness, Florida -switching out phones was so EASY & transferring everything like a pro was staff member HEATHER. She certainly knows her stuff inside and out ! You're awesome Heather, THANKS ever so (also had to bring back 2nd defunct Xumo box & drop "15 Choice" altogether) ..."no problem"

The man who helped us, Courtney Henry, was great. He was professional, helpful, and respectful. It is still a bit odd and somewhat inconvenient that you can't call the store... so I left my previous company because my due date was the end of the month. (I like all my bills paid no later than the 15th.) Come to find out, the bill is due the end of the month!!@@@ omg, really? I dealt with this for a couple few years... So I changed to Boost on the beginning of the month. Now Boost is due the end of the month!!@ OMG!!!! Then boost wouldn't change it. Said the only way was to go without service and pay it on the day I want my bill to be... so..........I have done this @4 times now. My Mom's phone and my Son's phone were also affected --> no phones for us. We went without for a few days to over a week each time, and my date kept reverting back to the 29th!!! I will try one more time, then switch back to Spectrum if it doesn't work this time. It's not worth the headache to me. I'll just have to make sure I begin the service on a date where the due date is what I want... if all else fails maybe I'll switch to Verizon....

Worst company ever. Please stay away from this company. I have home internet with them,every single month they charge me twice. I have to keep calling them to refund me my money. Stay away from them this company is trouble?

All you have to do to see the problem here is just read the reviews! My husband spent hours on the phone trying to get new cable service and mobile phone service. We already have Spectrum at the home we live in for at least 15 years;when it was Brighthouse. We were trying to get service for our rental. The customer service on the phone was pleasant, but he messed up the cable and phone situation. We have items sent to wrong addresses and it was a cluster. I tried to set the phones up for three days straight. Even had Spectrum and Verizon on the phone together in a conference call. Still nothing. So we headed on down to the "convenient" physical store.
The man there just Sat in his chair. Never got up. Had a very dismissive attitude and said they don't help people with phone service.....ummm it's Spectrum Mobile! He said only if you purchase a phone IN THE STORE. what?! So we can't get help connecting the phones, so we said "then take them back". Again, no can do. So we have put several calls in to get a Fed ex shipping label to no avail. Spectrum knows this is a problem....like so many businesses they just don't care.
Why would you even pay overhead for a physical store? There were two people "working" and like one customer in there. Seems like a waste. Especially when they are there to be a paperweight, only there to collect a check.
The guy just kept trying to blame Verizon....not helpful when you aren't giving me any solutions to my problem. Please just don't give them business, they are terrible. At least at this store.

Useless... The guy working in there has a crap attitude and he needs to carry himself right on back up north! This isn't New York! He didn't care or even try to help with the situation just stayed plopped in his chair waiting for his next smoke break. I've been a brighthouse customer for over 15 years. Spectrum comes along and ruins everything that was great about brighthouse. They need to get out of mobile and at least try and get internet and cable right first... Xfinity here I come.
