Lowe's sells warranty plans for the appliances, but they have nothing to do with honoring them. Bought a whirlpool refrigerator with the plan, fridge breaks down, 14 phone calls and 3 visits to the store, 7 weeks later technician fixed the problem.

Made the mistake of purchasing vinyl fence from Lowe's inverness and thinking I would have a worry free professional installation using Lowe's installer. The installer used the fence posts as garbage cans. He shoved the protective plastic wrap that was wrapped around the fence pieces down into the empty fence posts as he installed each. Also threw some of the plastic wrap behind the fence. What kind of installer does that instead of cleaning up and removing trash after a job? Fence is not even and straight across the top in places. Fortunately, only a 4' fence and there are, and will have in the future, plantings in front of the fence to hide the fence. Several other issues with install as well. Lowe's Installer - Florida Fence out of Ocala/Tampa - says it is fine as is and Lowe's is supporting the installer so nothing will be corrected. I called Aaron's Fence and Aaron had me send him pictures on email and offered good feedback. Very nice to offer to try to help. Regret using Lowe's because I thought they would back up their product/install and make it right. Won't make that mistake again when I need a new water heater installed or any other new appliance or product installation done.

I can't believe the low ratings people have left for this place. I've found it to have some of the most friendly and helpful staff I've ever encountered in any home improvement store of this type.

The staff at this Lowes in Inverness is the best in the Home Improvement category! Special shout out to Denise the manager on duty that went above and beyond for me. She took on my problem with Whirlpool and spent countless hours resolving my defective refrigerator replacement. She accomplished what Whirlpool and the BBB could not. I will never shop anywhere else!!

Used to be good company, but apparently no longer. For first time, paid for an Angie install. Sent someone without appropriate skills and ceiling fan is defective to boot! Called and engaged in a 45' chat on Angie site that was obviously designed to help no one. Reached out to customer service at Lowes this is morning, and still no response. Really unsure what to do next.

This store needs a new manager and a whole new staff in the appliance department. If you need an appliance GO ELSEWHERE NOW!!! They use a second party installer that could care less about Lowes, Lowes employees and most of all, they could care less about Lowes customers!!!They get a minus six on a scale from one to ten.I've had good and back luck in their garden department.I've had fairly good luck in their tool deparment.And I've always been able to find help in their lumber department - eventually.But their appliance department is full of non-helper, mis-information and people who will throw your problem off to anyone they can: GE, the installers, Whirlpool, you name it.DO NOT BUY AN APPLIANCE FROM THIS STORE. NOT NOW, NOT TOMORROW, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.

Just moved to the area so we are at Lowe's a lot for house needs. We were very impressed by how welcoming the staff are. Today, we had the "lost look" on our face as we scrambled to find a cleaning item. Staff member Joanne noticed our bewildered look and ask to assist us. She is amazing! She was so friendly and helpful. She also told us about Lowes Advantage Card. The item we needed was on the top shelf. The GM, Tim Graff walked by to see if he could assist her to get the item down. While we waited we were approached by another gentleman asking if we needed assistance. We have experienced a consistency of outstanding Customer Service at this location. Friendly staff is becoming rare in many other businesses. It is a testament to the Management Team that the store is so well run. Rick & Susan Wallace.

What a disastrous place this is !!! Customer service, just trying find product is the worse I have ever seen. Home Depot in Crystal River is worth the drive especially the Pro Desk. The guys there are real professionals where most of Lowes employees are low life losers. Take time top read their reviews
