This office lost my documents (bank statements, W2s/1099s, etc.) and also did not scan them into their electronic system before either disposing of my originals, or losing them altogether. Getting them on the phone is nearly impossible, and even showing up in person yields little results. Almost one month ago they tried to help me by saying they would order my transcripts from the IRS and assured me the papers would be delivered quickly, usually one week. Here I am one month later with nothing and I've followed up with them multiple times trying to verify if they were ever actually ordered.
I just went online to figure it out myself, only to find that YOU CAN GET YOUR TRANSCRIPTS INSTANTANEOUSLY YOURSELF. I've waited weeks for this office to do something that was pointless. Useless advice from these people. I'm furious as this is a time sensitive matter.

Due to multiple family obligations I was unable to sit down face to face this year for my tax return review. I dropped off my documents and received a call later that they were ready. My complaint was that I always pay their fee separate from any refund I may receive, this year should have been the same. No it wasn't, they chose to take out their fee from my refund, no option was given to me as their client, no disclosure that this may be their standard procedure for drop off tax filings. My late Father's Estate was supposed to pay their fee but their lack of communication with their clients has created another headache for me to deal with. I WAS going to give them the Estate account well as my mother's whom I'm POA over but No Not Now!!
H&R Block just lost what business I now handle for myself and my family.
Update: In reviewing my bill and tax documents at home I found that H&R Block charged an additional $39 for a "Refund Transfer" with an unfamiliar routing & account number. This also was done without my consent and I was only asked if my bank account was the same, yes...so why charge me? why direct my money to a different bank. Is this how they pad a client's bill? By charging unnecessary services and without authorization & not disclosing where your refund is actually going? It certainly not coming directly from the IRS into my account. With the "Refund Transfer" the IRS is instructed by H&R Block to send it to an entirely different bank to be dispersed then to the client's account.
!!Beware of their shady business practices!!
As I was signing documents at the front desk the associate had already sent my return electronically and I was told it could not be withdrawn.

I’ll never never go back to this location. I specifically requested Theresa, because when my husband died, my father-in-law told me she was the best I went to her last year and she did a great job but this year she decided to put me with somebody else which didn’t know my situation because she had a meeting she told me so couldn’t take me on my appointment time. The new lady didn’t know all of my taxes, and I had to explain to her that my husband died, and all of the business, and so forth or was educated enough in my tax information to handle my taxes. The fact that I made an appointment and then she shoved me off of someone else did not make me feel like she cared, nor did it matter whether or not I was there, so since I have just a number, I will never go back to this place. Which I understand people have things come up but if that was the case, I would’ve gladly rescheduled and gone back with her, but she insists that I use this other lady, so I attempted to do that, but never again. The lady who helped didn’t even spell my name correctly on the taxes, come to find out when I went to another location.
