This bank treats you like family. Best bank I have ever belonged to. I can go in there feeling terrible and walk out with a smile on my face. Talk about southern hospitality they must have wrote the book on it!

I have been a customer for over 4 years and could not be happier. I was a customer with another bank for over 40 years that closed its branch in town. I was happy with them but they got too big and you did not have that home town feel or care about maintaining its business with established customer. At Brannen Bank I am always greeted by name and each time I needed something like a loan or money exchanged for travel it was explained what the cost was going to be and I was given all my options. All banks have policies as a customer you need to know what they are.

My parents used the Hernando branch of this bank and were good customers for 12+ years. Just last year my father pasted away, and I had to get a P.O.A. on my mother to help her. First POA the bank rejected, second drawn up by a local lawyer they finally took and I went onto paying my moms bills. With the loss of my fathers income my mother could not afford all she owed, so I did what I could to ready her house to go on the market. As with not paying her mortgage (an insane amount of 110k for people in their 80's) The bank went onto forclosing. I get with not paying they could do that but they knew we were trying to sell it with a reality company and gave us less than a month. While that all is most likely normal my real issue is this bank is attacking my credit score. I never had any dealings with this bank no account, no loans, no nothing. My mother is still living so he debt is hers not mine. This bank is dishonest and I urge anyone thinking of using this bank to use a different one.

Easily the worst bank in existence. A business can not even function with a bank account here!
