“I will preface with this; Any negative reviews on here are self inflicted. I promise they have zero to do with the shop and more about the individuals lack of self-awareness.Now, I’ve been coming to Shift In2 Gear for about 4-5 years now. They were the first and only mechanics I came to upon moving to Citrus County. My dad recommended them and I am forever grateful. From having broad and massive knowledge of all types of vehicles, builds, custom endeavors etc. These guys always nail it. Let’s not even get started how they go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their clients. They always have their customers best interest in mind. They don’t scam you, in fact they charge less for far better work than majority of the mechanics around. They even met up with my husband on a Saturday when his bucket truck broke down in Clearwater to help fix it. They’re as loyal to you as you are to them. I would highly and only suggest Shift in2 Gear for all of your automotive needs!Please do not follow or believe the ranting and fit throwers of the world. Grown babies don’t tell the whole truth. Gil and Yoshi are absolutely amazing, James too! ?”

“We have used Joe for many years...his son Jake is now the main mechanic. We had him repair a vehicle for us. We ordered the very expensive part and he found that it was actually a damaged wire. He told us to return the part...he could have easily kept it or the old one as the part is fir a 2004 truck and very hard to find. Very honest, very reasonable. Highly recommend.”

“Today Richie’s garage replaced a cracked motor mount on my truck. They called me to ask about changing out the stoplight switch which has gone bad.That’s one of the great things about Richie’s Garage. If they encounter a problem, they will call you 1st about it. Not try to pad the estimate like other garages had done.And Richie’s treats everyone equally. I had been charged more, and charged for service that wasn’t done because of me being a woman. I had been talked down to, patronized. It was maddening!Another plus is the waiting room looks like home. With coffee, etc., available. And the nicest, friendliest dogs you could ever meet.Richie’s Garage is a blessing to single women like me. I’ve been taking my truck to them for years. From oil change on up, and I’ll keep taking “Big Red” to them.Wish I could give them 100 stars!”
