I have had a storage unit here for three years. I've rented several U-Hauls from them during that time. The ladies in the office were efficient, kind, and I always enjoyed interacting with them. Even if I was late with my payment they made me feel valued. Recently there was a big change, and it sure wasn't for the better. All the original ladies are gone. The owner, Karen, is often in the office now. She is probably one of the nastiest people I've ever had to deal with. My husband and I are trying to empty out the unit and had hoped to have it done last weekend. We are both older with health problems and we ran out of steam before finishing. Karen called to inform me that I now owe a balance and the unit was over locked. I would have to come in and pay by Fri if I wanted to get my things. One would expect it must be a huge balance. Nope, she locked it down for $32. I will empty my unit and never darken her doorstep again. Don't ever use them if you plan to be treated with any respect at all.

I have maintained two storage units for several years. Management has changed, and I had concerns about late payments. However, I think they will be willing to work with me regarding payments. This next month will be crucial.

Rented a uhaul truck to bring items to the salvation army store. The price was reasonable and the lady in charge was very pleasant.
