There are only a handful that I would recommend as fair and honest. Among them, I would include Walter and Tony at St. Petersburg Jewelry and Coins as high-integrity members of the numismatic community . “Artistic home two is a cute little shabby chic, consignment shop. Has all sorts of talent from wall-to-wall. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the beautiful handcrafted pieces. From a picture to hang on the wall to a headboard. It is larger than it looks. 3 to 4 rooms to browse. This is a must stop on your shopping list if you’re looking for a gift for a unique friend. Or maybe just an afternoon of enjoyment ?”

“My husband and I went to The Silver Queen today and as always they treated us like family. Everyone was so attentive and they have the most beautiful jewelry and collectibles. When we walked in Bryce one of the buyers was so outgoing and his knowledge of jewelry and coins was amazing. He even gave me a gift! Also, we bought a ring and a pair of earings that Tevin (our sales associate) was so patient and helpful. No high pressure just super accommodating! Then we go to check out and Margie the Department manager gave us a great deal. She always took care of us and that's why we keep going back to them. One more thing to add. “The ultimate definition of buying local is smalltime dealing with our neighbors. I still prefer the 50 year old Park Street location but it looks as if our local flea market is making a comeback. The original Pinellas market was a victim of COVID. There are well over 100 regular people selling their old stuff. There are many farmers market type vendors as well. I'm strictly a buyer, though I dream of unloading a garage full of unwanted things I have managed to collect in my lifetime. With all of my friends going organic, whatever that really means, I'm ashamed to admit that I go there for the end of the day vegetable deals. Most fresh fruit tody won't be next weekend. At the last few hours on Sunday you can strike a good bargain. So, I wear my rosary beads and wash my vegetables well.”
