“I love Arnold’s. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, amiable, and patient. I always visit Arnold’s first when hunting for valuable and unique adornments. They have everything from exquisitely preserved currency (I even saw several Krugerrands), to perfectly polished gold and silver, to beautiful gems of all kinds (I bought an Alexandrite gem here, which no one else in town had). Plus, Arnold’s prices are consistently fair, I always get the precise value for the item whether buying or selling. There are also a couple of gems at Arnold’s of the human variety. First is Delores, she has been serving people at Arnold’s for as long as I have shopped there. She is the kindest and wisest jeweler I have ever encountered. I always look for her because she is a great human being who helps me find the exact piece I am looking for. Lastly, Arnold’s brilliant and experienced craftspeople in the back perform miracles with broken jewelry. I needed a family heirloom altered before Christmas morning and I dropped it off three days before. Despite the showroom being full, Arnold’s staff accepted the challenge. Two days later, my jewelry was masterfully repaired and ready for pick-up. My entire family is grateful for the good people and vast selection inside Arnold’s Jewelers, shopping with them is a real treasure.”

Nothing to change. Except, perhaps Huey. He still doesn't like my hat. There are only a handful that I would recommend as fair and honest. Among them, I would include Walter and Tony at St. Petersburg Jewelry and Coins as high-integrity members of the numismatic community . Having already endured to share in their success, both possess the rare quality of actually caring more about the buyer than the buck No surprises here. You can buy with confidence.”

“Artistic home two is a cute little shabby chic, consignment shop. Has all sorts of talent from wall-to-wall. I enjoyed walking around and seeing all the beautiful handcrafted pieces. From a picture to hang on the wall to a headboard. It is larger than it looks. 3 to 4 rooms to browse. This is a must stop on your shopping list if you’re looking for a gift for a unique friend. “Many of you might find what I’m about to say to be rather strange…but I don’t own a single piece of jewelry…and that includes not even a watch.However, that has NOTHING to do with my review.As a tenant in the Raymond James Office Park complex where GESNER JEWELRY is located, I have gotten to know Elaine and her daughter…and in my acquaintance with them, I’ve come to respect them as truly authentic and “honorable” individuals; people you can very much feel comfortable with in dealing with either purchases or sales of importance regarding current or future articles of value.And I tell you this, because today, with ALL of the “overselling” of items and services that goes on with the increasing speed of our ever-advancing technologies…that it’s actually harder than ever now to find professionals whom you feel you can trust in and believe.However…as I said, right in the beginning…I’m NOT a gold or jewelry person…but I’ve always wondered that IF I WAS (and many people ARE)…just HOW would someone decide about the honesty of those business you might be dealing with.Well…ONE way is to read reviews of people who KNOW and have personal experience with them…and I’ve DONE just that, after getting to know Elaine, and coming to understand her personal thoughts and values about business…and life.And GESNER ESTATE JEWELRY has EXCELLENT reviews.So…IF (someday), I might be fortunate enough to have to decide to “make a purchase” of A “special” ring…(and I believe you know what I’m talking about)…the very first person I will be talking to about that…is Elaine Gesner.And that’s because I know that I can TRUST her to help me make the correct and best decision for the occasion.”

“The ultimate definition of buying local is smalltime dealing with our neighbors. I still prefer the 50 year old Park Street location but it looks as if our local flea market is making a comeback. The original Pinellas market was a victim of COVID. There are well over 100 regular people selling their old stuff. There are many farmers market type vendors as well. I'm strictly a buyer, though I dream of unloading a garage full of unwanted things I have managed to collect in my lifetime. With all of my friends going organic, whatever that really means, I'm ashamed to admit that I go there for the end of the day vegetable deals. Most fresh fruit tody won't be next weekend. At the last few hours on Sunday you can strike a good bargain. So, I wear my rosary beads and wash my vegetables well.”
