It is such a weird place.. the cashier seems like she’s on something lol, she speaks a lot. I think this place needs to be bought out by a big chain and get more customer service attention. I know that this is a quieter community and people are more reserve here but tourists still a lot of economic factor here so being gentle to people is one of the most important things.

Don't waste your time going to this place 0 personality behind the counter. You think somebody would be a little more friendly. Not sure if it's a son and daughter team but both couldn't care less about patrons. We asked about certain items being available. Then the man mutters under his breaths were out of it it happens. Also the place is a dump.

I saw that incident, the child put a bag of skittles in his pocket with his friend. The child was ask to not put anything in his pocket while he re entered the store at a later time.

Rude staff. Ripped product out of my hands and called me a hillbilly and said i must be from Kansas. If i could give zero stars i would, the reviews don’t lie. Do NOT come here!!!

First visit and the dude behind the counter was extremely rude to my wife and I. Why is this crabass behind the counter dealing with people??? Terrible

The lady with a gray hair is the rudest with ignorant person ever in my life. She has a problem with me and she had a problem with my girlfriend and I would recommend that you never walk into that store or when you do go in there just ask for the gray head lady that's watching TV instead of paying attention to the customers in the store

I went in the store to buy a coke tonight but was harassed because I had bought an ice cream at an adjacent store and was refused service. I was definitely harassed by the man working tonight. I would be careful going to this store at night. The folks who work there are extremely unprofessional.

This food mart has a little bit of everything!The staff were kind and helpful.We shopped here daily while staying in a nearby condo.

I would not recommend anyone visit this store. The man working tonight was extremely rude and would not sell me a coke because I had bought an ice cream from an adjacent business. I was definitely harassed and will not go back. Be careful if you go in this store at night.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I absolutely would. Came here on vacation and saw a sign in the window, driving by, for bait. My 7 year old son and I wanted to try fishing in the bay behind our condo so we walked up here to buy bait and maybe get some insight on what to use since we’re not used to fishing in salt water. We asked the clerk for his recommendation and he looked at us, said nothing, and went back to reading his magazine as if he hadn’t just been asked advice from customers. After we picked out some $10 lures and another $10 rig (before bait) we walked up to the counter. I asked where the live bait was, and the clerk proceeded to rudely yell at me that the sign says “frozen bait” and had I read the sign, I should’ve known this. I proceeded to tell the store clerk that he didn’t need to be so rude to me and he then kicked me out of the store. After I walked 50 feet from the store, the clerk stood outside of the door, referredto my 7 year old son and I as “white trash from Ohio” and told us to go home. Stay classy, clerk….. Hopefully you don’t give the same hospitality to everyone who seeks your great advice on fishing these waters.EDIT: Based on ALL of his COUNTLESS poor reviews he has an excuse for all of his unprofessional behavior towards his customers.

Cashier was super rude and refused to sell me bait after giving me a hard time about forgetting to close the cooler. It was a accident and I closed it right after he asked me to. We will never return here again. Learn some customer service or find a new job.

Shocking! I bought 2 bags of ice and the cashier was a male that was extremely rude. After my purchase I took the ice to my car. While fastening my seat belt the cashier came out and walked behind my car like he was looking at my license plate? Pretty odd, then he went back to the front door and lit a cigarette while staring at me. Creepy, you will never see me again and I vacation in Indian rock every year.

Love this place! The owner took the time to tell us about all the fun things to do that were close by. We would have never known about the bird Sanctuary without his help.
