Growing up on the shores of Indian Rocks Beach, the Lopez family name quickly became synonymous with world class surfers Cory and Shea. Both ingrained their surfing legacy by competing on the WST while consistently ranking amongst the top 40 surfers around the globe for nearly a decade. In 2006 Nekton Surf Shop was born. A Nekton, by definition, is an aquatic animal that is able to swim and move independent of water currents, much like the Lopez family crest has showcased.
