The course has absolutely morphed over the last few years. Under the current management I've seen the fairways go from not at all fair to excellent. The greens roll extremely well especially given this is a base course. Views are great, and the clubhouse has great food. My only complaint is the pace of play/golf etiquette IQ of the typical player. Overall excellent course

The greens are perfect, and far better than any of the Destin courses that charge $150+. For the price, Gator Lakes is a 10 star. It's open to the public, and only took about 10 minutes to get a pass at the visitor center to get on the base, and the pass is good for 6 months. Plus, we got to see a few big gators.

Very “rustic”Great layout, lots of wild life to see…too include multiple varieties of grass on the fairway and tee box’s. Very progressive, less about rules and etiquette and more about exploring boundaries…Saw multiple five-some and six-some groups…Oh, and don’t worry about being able to finish that novel, pace of play is slow and unregulated, so bring a good book!!Greens okFairways need some workTee box’s need some work

Surprisingly delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and so inexpensive. French toast, bacon and egg for around $5.50.

Awesome for some cheap golf on a decent course! Friendly staff and a quiet area. Highly recommend.

WATER HAZARDS!! This golf course is one of the best in the Air Force. if you're looking to have a challenging game and an interesting score, tee up and take a chance. Bring extra balls though, because the lakes will eat your golf balls like the predators they are named after.

Great Course and Service. However the new policy civilians are not authorized to get a pass on their own just to use the golf course. What is happening? I am confused.

Don't let your dogs get near the lakes. Gators multiply and are not thinned.

Played the course in January and it was a great rate for 18 holes. The course was very well maintained for that time of year, even though some of the greens were in a little rough shape it was still an awesome course and a great experience.

The course is in ok shape. It could use a bit of seeding in the fairways. The greens aren't too bad though. Not sure what happened to the clubhouse food though. It used to be good when I was here about 6 years ago, but had a really bad hamburger today. It didn't even taste like meat.
