My wife called in my daughter's prescription for Azithromycin (most common antibiotic) and asked the pharmacist to please make sure it was grape flavored instead of bubblegum. She was told that they make it upon arrival and to ask for it then. I was the one picking up the prescription and asked the pharmacist several times to make sure it's grape flavored that my daughter cannot take anything bubble gum flavored. She still made it bubblegum flavored and of course, when I gave it to my daughter, she threw up everywhere. When I called and asked for a new bottle, was told they are out and it would take a few days to get more of the most common product back in? And that he could just try to mask the flavor? Now I'm forced to go get a new prescription and drive out of my way to a new pharmacy so she doesn't miss her dosage.

The lead Pharmacist there is very controlling and rude when it comes to pain medication, he told me he can't help me with that medication any more and uses the excuse he can't get it, he should be fired.I am moving all my Mom's and my prescriptions elsewhere and will limit the shopping I do there also.

The pharmacist named Bassen needs a serious attitude adjustment or to be fired after seeing these other reviews as well.I’m flabbergasted at his behavior. He was literally yelling at the individual dropping off a prescription for my grandmother because she was trying to fill a painkiller prescription - for her recovery from a knee replacement. He telling her she didn’t need the painkiller because it wasn’t a big deal, saying she would never be able to fill another controlled substance at that pharmacy as long as he was there, yelling and being very emotional like he was being slighted in some way.It was very odd. It’s not like there’s anything else to the story here. It wasn’t a large amount nor had she already been taking them for long - she was quite literally a week out from a major surgery and has some complications from it. We will be following up with a complaint to the pharmacy board.

Rude Pharmacy staff specifically the male pharmacist. Very unprofessional, and has aggressive manners. He Should really think about changing careers or retiring early. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Not worth the Hassel or headache, fill anywhere else.

I was helped by an employee in the pharmacy named Taylor, she was fabulous. Her professionalism and patience was superior to anyone that I've encountered at the Publix near my home. She was extremely respectful and knowledgeable with regards to my insurance situation. Sadly at times these pharmacies are limited to what they get in stock and when they can receive it. She was honest and followed back up with me.Thank you Taylor for your kindness, we need more people in the world like you!

I wish there was the possibility on here to give less than one star. If you are looking for a Pharmacy with good …heck even somewhat ok customer service,..don’t make this your Pharmacy. Went to pick up my mother’s insulin & was told that it was just put back (they never even called us to let us know it was in, we called to find out about it & that’s how we knew they had it ready for her) & they stated that they had none left. Per the pharmacist & his 2 assistants they had no idea when they would have it again they thought that they would not be receiving any for 3-4 weeks. Since my mother is a diabetic she can not go 3-4 weeks without her medication. When asked if there was anything that they could do, they made it very obvious that they couldn’t be bothered & said that we should check with other Publix Pharmacies & see who could fill it. There was no one else waiting for assistance at the pharmacy yet they couldn’t help us get the prescription transferred to another Publix so that I could pick it up wherever else.

Very polite but beyond unorganized. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve come to pick up a prescription being told it’ll be ready at a specific time and it never is. I end up sitting in the parking lot to pass time till they’ve finally got it ready. Just like I am now. I’ve asked over ten times to receive texts for refills and every time they attempt to “update” my number there’s always an excuse why it doesn’t work. Everyone is polite but this will be my last visit to this location due to lack of organization.

I am very disappointed in the customer service at this pharmacy. There are 2 pharmacist one is extremely nice Matt ?? the other not worth mentioning he is rude and the other pharmacy staff act just like him Rude! but when Matt is there the staff are pleasant and attentive. Update Matt is no longer there neither am I ☹️

Avoid , avoid , avoid. All publix pharmacies are terrible. If you need your meds, you can count on Publix NOT filling it. Oh, they'll say its the provider, but this happens at every Publix pharmacy so far. They need to stick to groceries....

The pharmacy staff is very short and rude. It seems they have no experience in customer service. It's very sad to witness. I expect Publix to be the best. Everytime I go it's a disappointment at this store. I will now transfer my scripts to the Publix on Hudson Ave and little Rd. They appear to be much happier and more attentive.
