This is my third iteration of this ring. The head is actually a mashup of two different pieces of jewelry. The diamond border was taken from a ring that I bought in the Caribbean (can't remember which island) on vacation with my sister. The ruby (which I learned is a rubellite) is from a pendant that my son (my only child) gave me one year for my birthday. My son passed away in April 2015, so the stone has sentimental value. The previous two designs did not do it justice or capture what to me is the emotional beauty. Dr. Gem's workmanship is beyond amazing. The design fits the style of the ring. Dr. Gem made a beautiful ring that damn near brought tears to my eyes. I trusted him with something dear to my heart, and his work exceeded anything I could have imagined.

Not friendly, especially blonde woman Owner has palsy so no repairs I was told they only sell jewelry not fix it I'll never go back there again The blonde lady has a holier than thou attitude She had no clue I was a 4th generation jeweler retired I just wanted a ring sized She said that'll take AT LEAST a month to send it out No way!

I cannot thank this jeweler enough! I had taken my 2 rings to another local citrus county jeweler to have them attached and was appalled at the workmanship. I ended up losing a diamond, simply because of the repair. After putting it off, partly because I was embarrassed to take it to another jeweler and partly because I thought that maybe what I was asking, couldn't be done. I took them to Jewels and Diamonds, and after talking to Joe (owner/jeweler) I left feeling confident that I had made the right decision. I picked my ring up today, and it is perfect! His workmanship is absolutely first class! I could not be happier. I'm sure he should have charged well over what he actually should have charged, but he was kind enough to stay within the estimated quote. Thank you Jewels and Diamonds of Homosassa....you're the best!!!ðŸ†
