You know that it’s not Home Depot or Lowe’s because they don’t have all the things that you would want to buy but they do have the very best service. If you need guidance, assistance finding tools or just about anything hardware related, this is my go to store. Everyone seriously knows their stuff and are happy to provide their time in helping solve your problems. Great job!

We purchased a generator from Kanes Ace Hardware a couple days before hurricane Milton hit.As with Helene we knew we were going to lose power. We were not only in a evacuation area but also a mobile home so we stored the generator in a high and dry storage area. We were gone for 3 days. On our way back out neighbor called and said the power was restored. Great news. But when we tried to return the generator Kanes would not accept anything related to hurricanes we even had 2 flashlights that never worked. The generator was never used in fact never removed from the box. We got some song and dance about what if everyone wanted to return items they would go broke. Made me wonder where was the compassion for the hurricane victims. Even though we had very little damage we still lost a lot of $ .being on a fixed income..this was money it will take a long time to recover from..According to Bob the manager it was all about the money he would lose by giving us our money back.That store made a boat load of money selling hurricane supplies. Guess Ace hardware has no heart..it's all about greed. Wonder what Bob did to help out his community in this time of need? We all know the answer don't we...P.S..there were not signs posted all over the store however In very very fine print on the receipt (after the purchase) it did say 30 day returns.

This Ace Hardware has been my go to hardware store since I moved here in 2018. I Have always been very happy with their customer service. However, on October 7th prior to Hurricane Milton, I was doing storm prep and purchased 5 cans of Flex Seal spray which was suggested by one of the associates. I then returned home to prep and watched the Flex Seal video to apply this product correctly. After using the product, I found that it did not work the way the way it was presented. During the application, I only used one can of the product. Since it did not perform the way it was presented, I went back to Ace and tried to return the remaining 4 cans. To my surprise, they told me that it was a hurricane related product and could not be returned even though they had not been used. Also, It was very suspicious that they did not tell the consumer prior to purchasing the product, that it could not be returned.
This kind of policy is DISGUSTING AND UNFAIR TO THE HARD WORKING PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTY!! Here we are getting ready to face a deadly Hurricane, and most consumers are desperate to save their homes and purchasing items they are told may help. KANE'S ACE hardware is taking advantage of hard working people trying to do what they can to save their homes. They will take your money with no problem, but trying to return a product that did not work, they tell you get F'd. Never again will I go back to this establishment. A Complaint has been filed with the Florida State Attorney's Office.
Oh, and by the way, the owners response is absolutely pathetic. I am a small business owner for over 25 years. I understand completely purchasing inventory and the stress that comes with spending large amounts of money on products. However, what the Ace owner doesn't understand is that people in this community help each other no matter what the circumstance. Good faith always comes back to you when you help others.
IT'S NOT THE MONEY IT'S THE PRINCIPAL!! I hope the owner can learn a good lesson from this review.

Justin was very knowledgeable and helpful. He went out of his way to measure the dimensions of a large item to make sure I didn't waste a trip with an undersized vehicle. That's the kind of guy I would want working at my business. This is not the closest Ace Hardware to me, but I'll be back because of the well-stocked store and great customer service. Thanks Justin!
