“TLDR: Great people, great communication, and goods delivered quickly (and all in one piece)!I've done two interstate moves with movers before, neither of which went smoothly, but my recent move using Homestead Transfer and Storage was about as perfect as any move could be! Scheduling a time for an estimate was great and you can arrange an estimate via video call or in-person; Randy was super thorough in his estimate via video call, during which time he answered my many questions about the process. This business gives you a "does not exceed" estimate, which not all companies do; I was a fan because I was aware going into the move what the maximum cost would be.I cannot say enough amazing things about Adrienne in the office, who was easily able to answer all of my additional questions about the move once I selected Homestead Transfer and Storage. If you need anything (used boxes and other packing materials) - she's your go-to person! She helped me feel at ease with my almost 1,000 mile move. If you've got questions - she has answers!For our move, we only did a partial pack (TVs and some mirror boxes). The day of the load out for the move, the driver and crew arrived right on time at 8am. Everyone was courteous and careful, yet quick in moving boxes and wrapping furniture. Our driver (Jack) was amazing! He worked hard to make sure that we had our goods delivered as soon as possible; we loaded on a Monday and our goods were delivered on Saturday. The load into our new home was just as quick and painless as the load out.I really can't say anything but good things about this experience! “I am writing about my personal experience with this Uhaul. I do not speak for the Park Services but I work for them. We came down from Tennessee to help with the clean up from Irma. The hitch on our truck needed to be replaced. We went there and Gabriel helped us order it. When it came in I went down to have it installed. Unfortunately it didn't fit.No fault of Uhaul it has a utility box on it which wouldn't allow it to fit. Gabriel worked on it for a long time. I was waiting it the showroom and the staff handled the crowds of people some very rude professionally and as quickly as possible. After the hitch did not fit I requested Gabriel to reinstall the old one. He did got a refund as any reputable company would. Thank you very much. Very fun group of people!!!!!”
