Dr. Furnari has been my optometrist since I was in middle school. I am now in my 40's. As some of the comments mentioned yes his office is full. However, I think its because not only has Homesteads population exploded but he is a great doctor. I visited last week and was really impressed by a new staff member Nathalia. I didn't have my new insurance card and she suggested I not make a purchase until I requested a new card and an explanation of my benefits. I went back to their office with all my information she went above and beyond to make sure I didn't pay more than I had to. Dr. Furnari has been saying for years he was going to retire but I'm so grateful he hasn't!

DO NOT GO THERE This is the most chaotic and disorganized medical office I have ever visited florida..Some of the staff seem utterly untrained.and discourtious..There are crowds of patients just hanging around as a result of long wait timesBut worst was ..They mixed up my chart with another patient's chart..that's a big big no no..Secondly..the front doors of this building apparently are always locked,( no signs). When you eventually find the back door ( after 15min )you go through this little cobby hole and down a hallway.where you meet a desk clerk that does not even raise her head to speak to you, very disrespectful..At the end of my ordeal I asked to speak to a supervisor about the Patient Chart mix up..Am still waiting on that supervisor..The staff there just don't give a dam..This doctor group obviously thinks QUANTITY equals QUALITY..He should cut the amt of staff by half, and give homestead residents the QUALITY CARE they deserve

As with any doctor taking Medicaid these days the office can be often full with a little waiting time. However the doctor was caring, not rushing, and thorough. Selection of glasses was with a pleasant attendant… A great experience overall?

Unfortunately this office /eye glass center convince me. The place was extremely crowded, the staff was a hot mess, no organization. Moved me to three different exam rooms and finally seen by the doctor who was in a rush. The the sales associate tried to sell me all kinds of additional stuff I didn’t want or need. I miss NY.

I have been apart of this office for years.. my family has seen both Drs and they have watched my girls grow… I finally got my husband in on a Sameday cancellation and the Dr was great… it’s a busy office but they make it work and at the end I felt very accomplished that I was able to get most of my family done… I have my visit on Friday…and as per usual things should go fine

Doctor prescribed me a prescription that was WAY too strong. Had to come back for another appointment.Front desk ordered the wrong contacts. Had to come back again.Front desks claims they will "call when your contacts are ready"...nope. They didn't callme because they "skimmed the box and didn't see your name."

Amazing eye doctor, Great and quick service, they cater to your needs and they follow all covid guidlines of safety for all, its like a family yet professional. Love my eyewear. "I CAN SEE YAAAAAY". LOVE YA DOC.

This place is a rip off!!! I went in today to just speak with Doctor Funari about a prescription he prescribed me. I told the assistant I did not want an eye exam. I was in the doctors office for about 10 min he did not exam my eyes at all which was ok I just wanted help with my dry eye and they charged me $50 for NOTHING!!! If they would have told me it was gonna be $50 I would have not spoken to the Dr at all. I have been paying my vision insurance for 2 years and have not been to the eye dr and as soon as I go to just ask a question they charge me. Not to mention the manager lady was so RUDE!! No kind words f service just RUDE!! They are there to just take your money! I will never go there again. Wish I could give a half star! This place and ppl have no respect!! Oh not to mention Dr Funari was booked up even tho my appointment was with him they had the other doctor talk to me.

The worst! They never answer the phone. Been calling for three days 7-10 minutes on hold. Left three voicemails. Just now a lady answered i told her to please not place me on hold and she still did and I waited for 10 minutes and got transferred to a voicemail. They are the worst ! Messy office staff. The only reason I go there is because it’s my doctor who I like not the messy ,

I called to confirm if they took my insurance and as soon I ask one of the front desk ladies sighed like she was bothered by the question I automatically hung up. If you are bothered by a simple necessary question imagine if I was an actual patient and needed to set an appointment. So rude.. do better front desk.

I have been waiting 3mo for my husbands glasses that are already paid for ,I call today the front desk person over optical tells me she forgot to place the order are you kidding me she say no i really forgot they are so unproffessional at this office worst optical expierence ive had im contacting joint commission other person i can make a formal complaint maybe medical board really need to look at this facility.

Had to come here for an eye exam. Terrible facility with long wait times. The optometrist was unhygenic and didn't even wash his hands or put on gloves before trying to touch my face. All their equipment was very intrusive. Don't go here.

It’s been 9 years and counting my children and I have been with them. I’m never changing that you always feel welcome. Staff is knowledgeable about the products they provide. The care the give you in the office and on the phone is unmatched. I’ve been to other eye specialist wasn’t happy at all. All in all they provide great customer service. The restrooms are always clean listen that’s so important when you’ve got a high volume of patients you care for.

WORST experience here with wait times and lack of courteous staff. MINIMUM wait time (even if you show up early or on time) is 30 min for whatever reason. FIVE staff aligned at front desk. No ONE with any welcome greetings. You have to stand there and wait to be acknowledged or just speak out. Got fed up with waiting 53 minutes and still no service. So I WALKED OUT! Have a great day ladies! Patients DO NOT deserve this kind of service. Bye bye!
