Worst customer service. Sent my father in law to purchase a Stihl Chainsaw on Wednesday 9/21. When I went to start it that afternoon at home it would not start, read the owners manual and followed the instructions and still it would not start.My father in law returned the next morning to let them know what happened. After they claimed it started just fine, they took it to their back shop because they didn't like how it ran and said it needed more adjusting. At this point my Father in Law said for them to give him another one since obviously that one had issues. They refused to give him another new one and said they will adjust the one he purchased, but he had to wait because they had other customers they needed to attend to.That was enough for him to say enough is enough and demanded a full refund and after going back and forth they finally gave in and gave him the refund.We will not be returning to this hardware store ever again.

they accepted my lawnmower without having a mechanic to work on it. kept it for three weeks with no communication. told me they will get to it next wee, then two more weeks go by without any communication. i rold them I'm unhappy with the service and to please bring me my lawnmower. they bring it out in pieces. i spoke to a manager and she said she will cover cost and she will give me an update on service on Monday 5.22. I was satisfied and left my lawnmower. as promised i received a call with an update Monday morning then Monday afternoon another "manager " calls talking fast saying she is charging me. I asked why is she being rude when I have done nothing to her. she replied i haven't been rude. so i ask if cutting off your customers and talking over isn't rude then I guess that is just their normal customer serviceBad customer servicebad communicationthey don't stand behind what they say. their word is no good

Been a customer for many years. I own a tree service and purchase all my Stihl products here. Great service here. Highly recommend this business. Chantel at the lawn desk is very knowledgeable about the equipment they sell

I've lived in homestead since 78 and it has always been a pleasure to come into this store. I went to buy some lawn equipment and the staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you haven't been by this place I definitely recommend for you to go even if it's just for browsing.

I own a landscaping company and have purchased quite a bit through the years from this company. At times I’ve had had issues but I’ve overlooked them and kept coming back out of habit and not wanting to switch places unless I need to. I purchase mostly stihl products and had a hand pruner as well as a pruning saw go bad on me . When I took in for warranty they could not find the transaction so I was told I had no warranty if I had no receipt. I went ahead and kept purchasing new ones as well as other items at different times and was told to make sure I would put it under my number and business so that would not occur again. Every time I’ve purchased since then I have to ask them to use my number only to get told I don’t really need it. Then I have to explain what happened in the past. This should just be standard procedure in my eyes if they are going to be so strict on the warranty policy. Besides that then at times there are employees covering the stihl counter that seem to have little to no knowledge of parts equipment or the system itself. Then the last straw was a few weeks ago I went to purchase a repair part for one of my pieces of equipment. Chantal was on a personal FaceTime call and the other lady usually works the paint side and is not very knowledgeable on stihl products. I waited patiently for her to finish her call then she hangs up and proceeded to discuss with the other lady what they were ordering for lunch. Again patiently waiting…. Once they finished discussing and ordering their lunch Chantal proceeded to help me . All the time distracted while talking and laughing with the other lady. As if that wasn’t enough then ended up mocking me for how I was trying to start a new edger I was going to purchase. Proceeded to laugh with the other lady and say if I start it like that I will break it every time. I have pretty much every piece of equipment stihl has to offer and have been doing landscaping with my business for over 13 years. I’m pretty sure I know how to properly use my equipment but regardless not the treatment I should be receiving from a business. I’ve since then taken my business elsewhere where I feel it’s appreciated.

It is the first time that I write a negative comment, but I think it is necessary that everyone knows the bad service and behavior with customers, they treat you very badly and especially if you do not know English they treat you worse, just think it well before buying, just I wish you luck and better treatment for the next customers.
