Not a good experience for a regular customer, with a confirmation. Online paid registration, no vehicle at all. Pure discrimination in my opinion.

It takes too long to rent any car. Consider atleast 1.30 hour. Man in charge has to check everything when customers deposit the vehicle. We were there long before closing hours. Waited for 1.40 hrs. And got the reply come next day. Software doesn't allow to rent. Ridiculous.

Terrible customer service, and the agent is arrogant.Went there to exchange the car as the current car had engine trouble. Customer care mentioned that they have cars available, but the agent was downright and extremely rude with us. She mentioned that customer care dont know anything and she does not have any cars.I would give negative ratings If that was something.

Just wasted $ on a ride service thanks to this location! Lyft’d there and was told that my reservation couldn’t be honored bc there “are no cars” -though the lot literally had cars; the [RUDE] woman working there said they were all “for tomorrow” or “for uber”… well you have customers with reservations here NOW, and you’ll are about to close, so how about prioritize that?! There were 2 other customers waiting, and they were complaining with there own issues as well smh. I made my reservation earlier that morning and that’s why she said it wasn’t guaranteed bc it was same day.. which totally negates the point of them granting a confirmation #, ya know CONFIRMING the reservation for a car ?.. but even with that being said I would be understanding bc i get that stuff happens, that’s if I had been notified they couldn’t honor my reservation beforehand! Common decency would be to call your customers and inform them that can’t provide a service smh. & Then the cherry on top is unlike E*prise that offers their customers comp. pickups/dropoffs, they do no such thing, ++ once the clock struck 4 the lady literally kicked me and the other customer out of the office in the middle of our conversations… i was left speechless ? totally unsatisfied!!! the other customer that was thrown out beside me was talking about contacting the BBB, and I seriously think i’m going to look into that as well, bc you can’t conduct business like that

The service agent at this venue was amazing. She properly executed her duties diligently. She was very attentive, kind and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with her assistance and service provided at this venue. I definitely recommend renting from AVIS at this location. Top notch quality for sure.

very easy pick up and return. the staff is very friendly and professional. The dodge truck I rented was clean and was nothing short of a true pleasure to drive.

Give 1 star because I don’t know !,worst place to go and do businesses ,the Manager Leon was super disrespectful and think he own the place !!,or maybe he does but AVIS it’s loading money whit this guy ,he don’t even know they own policy even though it’s right there next to him in a paper !!,a book a car but NA ,I’ll go to another place we’re they treat you right!.

Worse experience ever. Book reservation online appear to pick up just to be told no cars available. No options given. Just rude. She could of easily said to wait for cars to return if I wanted to pick another car. Nope nothing. Didn't care that I uber to the car place. Horrible customer service in my opnion.

The people at this location go above and beyond every time i rent from there. I've seen thy manager let the others leave early on holidays and he does every thing himself including cleaning the cars and getting them out quick as possible.. I've been there in a few occasions where people were extremely rude to them, and they handled themselves with patience and professionalism.. because of their first class treatment i don't rent from any other location

Nelly at the front desk was awesome! She made our rental experience a breeze. We are traveling a long distance with over 20 kids for camp and needed 3 vans. She and her team made sure the vans were ready to go! This is such a blessing because I was told back in the day you had to drive to the airport for such service. Small location with great employees with big hearts. Customer services was A1. Definetly recommended.

Had a reservation, was told I can go as soon as they open at 8 AM. Upon arrival I was told there are NO VEHICLES available until maybe 10:30. I went to Enterprise and got a vehicle immediately.I highly recommend AGAINST using the Avis location in Homestead. You have choices...USE THEM

They took my money and didn't give me a car. I still haven't received my money back from them. They cancelled the reservation but did not refund the money.

I wish I would have read the reviews before reserving a car here! It was nothing but a scam. When I arrived there was an office full of people with reservations and not a single caron the lot. Went to Enterprise and had a great experience.

DO NOT RENT HERE! I reserved a van for a family trip 3 weeks before the needed date (without previously seeing the reviews) and when I arrived there, I was told they did not have any available vehicles. After asking for an explanation since we had already been charged the woman told us that she was calling everyone with a reservation for that day to advise them and stated she had already called us. Mind you, they were calling on the SAME DAY, it was only 10 AM and we had no missed calls or voice mail messages. She also advised us that "they can't charge you until you have the car. " Which was not accurate because after checking our statements we had been indeed charged. Luckily, after calling the customer service we were able to receive a refund.
