“Last year when visiting we stopped in and shopped at Irene's. I made a purchase the most beautiful navy sunglasses they reminded me of our trips to the beach. Then forward to this past summer when they slipped if my head and instantly sank to the bottom of a lake. Last week when on our vacation I stopped back in at Irene's in hopes of finding something similar and told the sales associate how they were lost. She listened to me and didn't push for me to buy a in stock pair she heard "they were my all time favorite". I was stunned when she volunteered to call the Rep and see if it was possible to still get them. Last week I was happy to get a call from the store and learn that the Brand Rep had helped the store locate them. Today on a chilly day 34 degrees in the Midwest the mailman delivered them. I'd like to thank the people and especially the sales associate there for going the extra mile. Can't wait to be back to sunny Florida sporting them and shop Irene's.”

“A classic Island shop, this store has been in the same location for more than 50 years! They must be doing business the right way to stick around this long. But don't let their longevity lead you into thinking they are stuck in old styles because they have lots of current trends. Instead of the poorly-made cheap shirts found in those tacky tourist traps, Mister Roberts carries quality apparel in styles you'll actually wear at home. They also have really luxurious beach towels, home decor, drinkware, and a few kitschy items. And, their quality items are priced are very reasonably- score! Be sure to stop here on your way to the beach!”

“There are MANY beach shops on Anna Maria Island but Sun and Surf stand out for their excellent customer service. This past week was my husband's birthday and his old AMI visor that he has had for 10 years was really looking ratty. So I called Sun and Surf and they texted a photo of what they had and it was the same brand. Not only did they mail it to me but they gift wrapped it for free. Other stores said things like: "I dunno know...you will have to come in ( I told them I was in Kentucky)" or, "We are too busy now, call back." and blah, blah, blah. Heather treated me as if I was standing right in front of her and nothing else mattered but getting my husband a quality visor. WTG, Sun and Surf!!!! See you in December.”
