If I could give them a zero, I would.
We rented 763 N.Shore Dr , and we rented upstairs n downstairs.
At arrival, the electric was off, and the agency had to call Florida Power to turn it on. The property was run down, not as nice as the pics. They had spare keys to both units hanging in one of the outdoor showers on Mike Norman key rings! We discovered this on our 3 day ,they were in a spot out in plain sight, so not a very secure situation. Also public beach goers parking in the driveway of unit and walking thru the 2 broken gates to get to the beach and we had people who could not speak english coming and taking pictures and telling us in broken english we come when you leave to make repairs!, the office let us know they could not do anything about this problem, also not a secure situation. The 2 x I called the office and gave my name they had no idea we rented both units up n down. The unit that had the power turned off had dead bugs n dirt on the floor thru the whole unit. This is not our first rental at AMI but it was our first time with this agency let me say this for the almost 7k dollars it cost to rent this unit from this agency WE WILL SPEND OUR MONEY ELSE WHERE. We will never rent from this agency again.

We rented an amazing house in AMI from Mike Norman Realty. Any issue we had with the house was addressed in a speedy manor. They were great to work with. Will be renting again with them.

We have used Mike Norman Realty for several years and find them easy to deal with - responsive, friendly and they always take care of any issue at our rental property quickly. Perhaps not the most technologically advanced business, but they make up for that with good old fashioned service.

We have been using Mike Norman for a couple of years now, we are on the island at the moment and just this morning had trouble with our heat. Called the emergency phone number for Mike Norman at 6 o’clock in the morning, a few hours later, there was a repair man here who fixed the problem. All on a Sunday morning. Thank you Mike Norman. That is dependability! That’s who you want for your local rentals.

First time renting a house rather than a condo. Little Florida “cracker” house nicely decorated and only 148 steps door to beach. Great location. Window AC worked hard to keep cool. Mike Norman Realty made rental easily accomplished and included good photos of property. Will definitely use them again

Planning my vacation with Mike Norman Realty was as smooth as can be. I'm not a big fan of making phone calls, so a couple of emails was all it took. I easily booked the property online, mailed half the deposit upon booking and the other half about a month and a half before the check-in day. On the day of arrival, the key and packet were waiting with the friendly agents in the office. They handed them over, we went to the wonderful property, and dropped them in the drop box upon checkout. Smooth sailing! Can't wait to do it again next year!

We stayed at Anna Maria Island for the week and the Condo was beautiful, very clean and convenient for accessing the pool and beach! I highly recommend them! You will not be disappointed!!

Although we had rented frequently from MNR in the past without incident, I soon discovered that if there is a problem, they are horrible to work with.My story: My husband died unexpectedly and I wanted to cancel our three month rental. I called and talked to Rochelle who said they would make an effort to re-rent the unit. This was in September and our scheduled arrival was January. in mid December, I saw on their website that the unit had been rebooked except for the first 21 days of January so I again called Rochelle. She said that although they had rebooked the unit at a higher rate, they hadn’t yet made the income threshold. So I agreed to book 11 of the unused days at the higher weekly rate to meet the threshold. We verbally agreed on the amount of the deposit refund and that I would pick up the refund check when I arrived on the island.When I arrived to pick up the check I was then told that i had been informed wrong and still owed almost $2000 for the unused days. That is when the fun started. Had I known, I could and would have arrived nine days earlier. There was no discussion or apology or acknowledgement that i had acted in good faith on Rochelle’s information and now there was no option or recourse. I was instead given a huge amount of attitude and rudeness from both Lisa and Rochelle along with a substantially smaller refund check. The cherry on the cake was when they they also charged me a cancellation fee!There are many other rental companies to choose from on the Island. Don’t use MNR.
