“GFS is a great place not only for restaurant owners but anyone looking for some great items for your own kitchen or maybe an event you are hosting. They have a lot of wonderful items plus some of the best water I've ever drank called Absopure and it comes in big bottles per the case. A little higher in price but when compared to the price per fluid ounce it's basically the same! If you haven't been here then highly recommended to check out for yourself.”
“I hear so much about this place that it was an obligation to stop by and try their food. Every great thing was right the food is excellent while tasting fresh and authentic. No wonder many people go out of the way to eat there food.”

“I had the grouper picatta since it was so good last visit. The caper sauce was bland, and I had to order gluten-free so they couldn't bread it. It was very dry. They did treat us to gluten-free bread, which is homemade and delicious! Service was spectacular as usual. Also, I love the mojito, with light syrup!”

“Lots of stuff. I had difficulty finding dog food but I was able to find an associate who told me where it was. I located it and got a dozen cans for my dog. They had a couple other things that I bought. There were only 2 lanes open but they went really quick. I was pleased with my visit.”
“Bobby at Publix in Longboat Key made us first timers felt so welcomed! We have visited Holmes Beach the past couple of years but decided to switch it up and give Longboat Key a try! So glad we did! The Store was so clean, well stocked and when we couldn’t find the smoked goda Mac n cheese Bobby went and got us some from the deli! Now that’s top notch service! “I shopped here for nearly 20 years before moving out of Florida altogether. The owners were always super kind and friendly. Store is well-stocked with pretty much anything you could need. Growing up in NW Bradenton, it was a super convenient location to ride my bike to. As I got older, it remained a local staple and many late night snack/beer runs were made here. It is an all-around great store. 5/5 stars.”

“This placce is a "MUST STOP AT" every time i visit the island. Love this little store ! It has great food and grocery items that come in handy when you are at this end of the island. They even have a little gift shop with icecream !I think the cutest part is that they even advertise other local businesses on the island and it gives it a small town feeling.”

“Devin, Marion and Tom is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! There's so many things that I can say about them but I'm not going to take all of your time. Devin is Absolutely Perfect for Dollar General. He always helps me when I need something, he dropped everything and he rings me up with a Smile and Accuracy. When he's not at the register he's always working putting things up and with the smile he always be I love him dearly that is the way customer service is supposed to be and Devin has perfected that. Marion. When I first met Marion I came in the store and mind you I moved from Parrish Florida all the way over here to the West Side. Marion has always helped me with anything that I've needed came to her with the concern because as an Black Bahamian woman I needed product for Blacks. . She works so hard to get that for us there has never been a variety like this EVER in any store I've ever been in I want to say that Marian has EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She is prompt with whatever you ask for she gets the job done with the smime. We have great conversations I love her also. Tom. Words can't I express the Joy that I feel when I come to the store because Tom is someone who can lift your Spirit even if you're having a bad day. He spe5ak loud and clear he remembers your name, he knows what he's talking about the last time you're seen. He he helps in EVERY way. I love Tom also. The moral of this story is that customer service is more than customer service you have to show your people that you care about them. Devin, Marion and Tom has shown that I give them five stars every time I see them I have a smile on my face. I recommend everyone to come to the Dollar General on Cortez Road close by the beach you guys are awesome thank you for what you do!!!”

“I like Aldi's because of the healthier options of food now their meat selection is small but fair.You have to bring your bag to put your groceries in if you don't they charge you for them $.25c up to $80cents not bad though.It always clean not the nicest employees but hey that everywhere now days.But over all it good place.”

“Visiting our son and his family nearby over Christmas and went there Christmas eve for supplies for dinner the next day.The store was clean and well stocked despite being busy. Saw that they had a sub sandwich counter in the deli. Didn't buy one to try but there was a line so assuming they are good.Everything was easy to find. Typical store layout. Prices were a little high compared to our local market back home in Indiana, but taking the area still seemed fair.Lots of checkout lines were open so no long lines to wait in. The cashier and bagger were both friendly and helpful.”

And anyone who says " several" has definitely been exaggerating because if you were annoyed the first time you shouldn't have gone back, if you were annoyed the second time you shouldn't have gone back and if you really thought she was that much of a B**** You would not have gone back five more times to realize that several times you've seen her act this way. Working for minimum-wage at a store like this or on salary to work over 80 hours a week isnt the best experience. believe it. I wonder what you actually do. Have some sympathy. And don't exaggerate. This comment could've got her fired for all you know and I've been in that store many times and she's a wonderful person. You could just be the one that's hard to deal with. “This Publix is my absolute favorite. They are always giving out little freebies and the customer service here is excellent. They were giving out free balloons on the 4th of July and let me tell you, my son was thrilled to receive it. Best Publix in the area!”

“Don't go anywhere to get a sub, but Publix. You will not find a better sub sandwich anywhere else.I can't explain how they can get all that stuff in their subs. They just keep stuffing everything in.... ?I live half my year in Oklahoma and half my year in Florida. You can't find grocery stores like Publix anywhere. It is a little expensive but always well worth the trip.”
