Provided 2 forms of id. They checked me in then 30 minutes later because I used Apple Pay said I needed to redo the check in, walked down there and because I didn’t have the physical card on me but it was in my phone and matched my id I was told I could not stay there. Loss of a 600 dollar stay on their part will never be back myself or my family and will recommend other places on the island to stay.

Came here on my day off to take advantage of the day pass and support a local business. I paid for my friend and I, plus parking ($86). The day pass included access to the pool (not cabanas) and lounge chairs along the beach area. I did like the pool and music in the area. The "resort" does not have on site food or bar area nor is a towel included to use (bring your own towels!). I should have done a little more research I guess vs. what I saw on socials. Not sure if it was worth almost $90 to stay only a couple of hours. They do have bikes that are included in the day pass! So maybe that is worth it if you plan on staying longer. Bri was a big help but felt super unwelcomed by other staff. My friend and I enjoyed our day off but probably would not go back for just the day pass.

Prime location. Great hotel. Will visit again. Rooms are lovely and spacious. Property was immaculate. Staff was attentive. You cannot beat this hotel on AMI. 2 small complaints/inconveniences: 1. No elevator 2. No food/beverage on site or walkable distance.

Such a great trip. We stayed for three nights, M-TH, with our almost two year old. The resort is gorgeous, clean, quiet and the beach is very accessible. Loved the amenities; they event lent us a scrabble board. We upgraded to a King Suite and it was perfect for us. We will be back!

We love Anna Maria Island Resort! It is our favorite place to visit and relax. It is very relaxing and the Gulf views are great. Everyone is friendly and responsive to whatever is requested. We have stayed there numerous time over the past few years and we are already planning our 2024 visit !

Pros * Beautiful beach and water * Nice pool easily accessed * Anna Maria Island nice, laid back beach small town * Rooms decent size and clean Cons * Management not paying attention to guest experience. Outside landscaping company had a person with an incredibly loud and noxious gas powered leaf blower blowing every square inch of property for 2 hours early in morning accomplishing nothing but disturbing the peace and quiet. He blew 10 leaves from one side of parking lot to the other for an hour. He blew the bushes, inside of cabanas, the top of the ping pong table, the concrete around pool, inside the bushes, etc. Total waste of time. When I complained to front desk, they said there is nothing they can do about it. What?? How about telling the guy to stop. Also during other parts of the stay their own staff was doing same useless and disturbing work to a lesser degree. * The rooms are not cold enough. The thermostat is throttled so it can't be set below 68 degrees. Paid a lot of money for this room but they try to save money by sacrificing guest comfort.

Room (202) was AMAZING. The view was INCREDIBLE. Pool was SUBLIME. Brie at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. Also we very much appreciated the bottle of champagne that she arranged for our anniversary. So thoughtful. However, when we called the morning of the day we were to check in with a family health emergency (our young daughter had a high fever and was throwing up) and asked if we could come next Saturday instead (we live just 45 mins away), I was told by Brie at the front desk that the manager would call us back. I waited over an hour, called again and was told the manager would not be in for another hour and would call then. More waiting. Brie finally called me back (not the manger) and told me she would transfer me to the reservation person, who could help me. When the reservation person answered she wanted to transfer me back to the front desk. I told her that I just spoke to the front desk and they said I needed speak to her. In spite of our family emergency, she curtly told me it would be a standard cancellation -- no refund or credit for the following Saturday, but she'd check with her manager (the manager I had been waiting two hours to hear back from). The manager didn't have the courtesy to speak to me directly, instead she texted the reservation person to say that we'd lose our $600+ if we cancelled. It was purely transactional for them. No empathy or understanding. No kindness. Not wanting to lose over $600 (a lot for us!), we reluctantly went anyway, leaving our sick child with a family member and worrying the whole time on a night that was supposed to be a break for us. As I mentioned above, the stay was wonderful -- 5 stars. But, when we sleep-deprived parents accidentally slept in til 9:45 a.m. (checkout is at 10) and called the front desk to ask for a late checkout, we were told "no" very matter of factly by a different woman (Not Brie). 10 am is an early checkout, especially when you're paying over $600 for one night. We had to call back again to beg for an extra half hour and she reluctantly agreed to it, but told us we would be charged an extra $100 if it was more than that. It's such a fantastic hotel, I'd love to come back again. But the lack of courtesy we were provided from the reservation person, management, and front-desk person (not Brie, who was wonderful) was extremely disappointing.

Anna Maria Beach Resort was the perfect quick getaway! The king pool front suite was very clean and nicely appointed and the daily maid service was a nice treat. The linens were good quality, the towels were fresh, and the floors were never sandy. The pool area is phenomenal with an infinity pool and cabanas for rent. The beach chair service was plentiful and we never an issue to find a seat under an umbrella. We will be back!

Excellent location, facility was great and beach access was amazing. Wife and I loved the pool area and what was available for us in our location. We are definitely returning and planning on bringing more of our family. Romantic getaway or family vacation, this place covers all the bases. Not a location if you are looking to party all night, which is what we loved about it.

Book your stay elsewhere, because if you have a death in the family and didn’t buy their travel insurance they won’t let you rebook with your pre paid room or even give a partial refund. I was told “sorry you didn’t buy travel insurance”, heartless crooks. Spend your money elsewhere.

BEYOND a 5 star. Every employee was exceptional. Beautiful facility. . . Comfy bed, amazing pool with hot tub, ping pong, bean bag toss. Complimentary bikes. And then the location. . . Saw dolphins almost every time we looked out. Wonderful chairs and umbrellas on the beach. I dropped a small item and had to move furniture/bed to find it. . . Couldn’t believe how clean it was even in the unseen areas. Couldn’t think of a thing that would make it better.

This place is a hidden gem! The staff are super friendly. I did not stay overnight but I did purchase a resort day pass that gave me access to the pool,vending machine,bathroom, usage of the resort beach umbrella and chairs. The place is clean and very well maintained.

Friendly and efficient staff; clean, modern, spacious, comfortable, and clean rooms; lots of restaurants within walking distance (less than 5min walking); all rooms beach view; all rooms pool view; for kids and adults; with your family or single. Definitely worth it coming here! Do not think about it, just book it and come!

Anna Marie Beach Resort was a wonderful place to stay! The room, the service, the e pool and the beach were all amazing!! And the staff was so friendly and helpful. They truly wanted your stay to be something to remember! My wife and I stayed 10 days and enjoyed every minute!!!

We are locals from Venice that came to experience the bioluminescent bloom and were not disappointed! The resort is steps from the beach, has a crystal clear lagoon style pool, and personal patios. And the bioluminescence was incredibly bright once you’re in the water right at the resort! I’d have liked some tea bag options in-room for those of us who don’t drink coffee but that’s my only complaint. Dinner @Beach Bistro was pricey but well worth it and we appreciated the $50 coupon provided by the resort. A fortune could be made if the resort had poolside cocktails but I guess paradise can only go so far ? golf cart rental from affiliate zoom around carts made zipping around town effortless but be aware there’s an extra $25 charge for golf cart parking. Between the bioluminescence combined with the gorgeous resort room and grounds it may have been the best experience we’ve ever had. Thank you
