This is what adulting feels like! Sugarcoat is owned by and ran by "Nat" and the whole experience is a vibe! The salon is intimate and clean. You will likely be her only client when you have an appointment which means that you are receiving a personal and narrowly-tailored experience! I first came to SugarCoat after avoiding gel manicures since 2010 (or whenever it was first invited). I think I've only done gel manicures 2x in my life and Lord the damage to my nails was so terrible that it was enough for me to just stay away. However, regular manicures take forever and don't last, so after much research and prayer, I ventured to Sugarcoat. During my first appointment I was very candid with Nat about my distrust of gel manicures and how much I cared about the health of my nails. Not only was Nat understanding, but she explained to me why her process was different and what I should expect during the gel-removal. In short, I've been a customer for about 9 months and I will never turn back! Ladies (and/or gents), if you care about the health of your nails and want a quality manicure and pedicure TRUST Nat to deliver every time! Above all else, after taking a break from gel manicures, my nails maintained their strength. I wish I photographed my last manicure - it was BEAUTIFUL and my nails were still strong! Also- the quality of her polish is quality- your mani and pedis will last - mine last at least 3 weeks! In short, support this black-owned business!

Service was great, the ladies are nice. But, their prices are a little outrageous. Regular Gel pedicure was $65 and that was with a “$10 discounted price.” My gel pedicure would have been $75, if they hadn’t credited the $10 gel take off fee. That’s not a reasonable price, even with gel take off fee included.

Extremely professional staff! The owner really cares about your natural nail care.I went to one of those venetian nail salons and they really messed up my nails. The owner has taken time to help me get back to natural healthy nails. There are no rush jobs at the salon. Your manicure and pedicure services will be completed with care.

Horrible front staff and manager/ owner. They are racist and are having people leave positive reviews to cover up the real raw reviews. DO NOT go this salon and support liars, deceit, and racism!!
