What an absolute nightmare. The pharmacist tends to inject himself into medical decisions despite being the least qualified to do so. For example, I was traveling in early June 24. Long story short, water was spilled on a nightstand during a COVID hallucination and half my Ambien was lost. Upon return and after an appointment with my doctor, a new prescription for 2 weeks of Ambien was called in. Important to note: In my many years of medical history, not once have I requested a controlled substance early. Until now. Point is, I don't have a concerning history by any means. Well, the pharmacist at Publix decided not to fill the script. That is his right. I didn't argue. My doctor called in two weeks of Lunesta to fill in the gap. I don't like Lunesta. It's less effective and gives me a terrible aftertaste that lasts all day. After two weeks the doctor accidentally called in Lunesta! When I realized the mistake I didn't complain. Another 2 weeks later, my original Ambien was eligible for refill. I requested refill as soon as possible. Taking it literally, soon as possible would be in 2 weeks when the Lunesta was finally gone. Went about my other refills, pre paid in the app and went to pick up. I got my pre pay and headed home. It was then that the same pharmacist called me back to the counter. His tone was instantly condescending. He proceeded to tell me I can NOT be on two sleep medications. I said, "I don't want to be!" Explained why Lunesta was there and asked him if I could return the Lunesta and pick up Ambien. You know, so I could actually sleep normal. He told me I could not exchange and I didn't argue. Long shot but worth a try. Notice, not once here have I tried for anything extra or rules to be bent. I just wanted to get back to what works. I am only involved with Lunesta because of Publix! My doctor prescribed my original replacement meds because he is my doctor and knows best. It was Publix who said, "I don't think so."
It has now been a month. Last night was my final fitfull Lunesta sleep! Doc. called in Ambien today (no overlap in meds) and it's finally over! Until it wasn't. Guess who refused to fill my prescription today! Guess who said nothing, I only noticed because it stopped processing on the app.
Your pharmacy should NOT be the biggest obstacle to your well-being. It is already hard enough with costs and insurance.
Thank you if you made it this far. The point is, this location is dangerous. To deny medicine, with ZERO attempt to even understand the situation of the patient is reckless at best. Dangerously ignorant at worst.

The line for deli was ridiculous but when we finally made it there, the employees were so friendly and I wasn't even annoyed anymore. Great ladies in the deli the day we were there

I came here for the Bears Head Ultimate sub which is on special this week. There were three others in front of me in line which didn't seem bad at 1pm. Boy was I wrong. After 30 minutes and 6 other patrons I counted gave up for their sub orders I was up to order. It just seems like everyone is in slow mode. I was off work so it didn't bother me but the frustration was seen by other customers. I don't recommend coming here for a sub.

i abso love publix inventory tho their prices are NOT competitive. the REAL problem is the staff. besides the manager who seems to be able bodied and brained and i had a good experience with her - customer service rep Brian? pls pls pls DO NOT ANSWER CALLS AND CHIT CHAT IN THE MIDDLE OF HELPING ME. RUDE. further i can tell you your important call wasnt from paramount and they arent optioning your book. PAY ATTENTION TO THE HUMANS YOU GET PAID TO HELP. thank you!

Cashier name was Chichi I never take the time to submit reviews, but this one was worth it. This old lady didn't even greet us and after we put everything from the car to the line, one of the items dropped she made a very nasty comment and we had to suck it because after a long day of work who has time to fight for something stupid

I wouldn't shop at this publix I am very disappointed with the customer service that they provide at this Publix the deli employees are very rude and when you go to make a complaint, the manager seem to do nothing about it. It's always a problem every time I head out to that Publix wouldn't recommend shopping at this Publix because apparently shopping is not a pleasure.

Great Publix..BUT... parked in the front not realizing that I have to pay a meter to go shopping in Publix. Not that Publix doesn't charge enough. Now I'm stuck with a $25 parking ticket. Who pays to go to Publix? I'll be going to a Publix where I don't have to pay to park.
