If you’re thinking of going into Ocean Jewelers to sell your jewelry, here’s what you can expect. I was met with a silent glare. Just plain unfriendly! Remember when clerks used to greet you with “Hi!” or “May I help you?”. Nope, not here.I asked the clerk how much he would give me for my bracelet. He responded with: “Do you have any other offers?” I said YES. Then he asked “How much?”. I said “No, you can just give me your best price!”His response: “That’s not how it works!” and handed the bracelet back to me. At my next offer, my bracelet got me $600.Don’t waste your time by going to Ocean Jewelers. Let’s hope they go out of business soon so the planet will be spared of their unkindness and inefficiency.

What an amazing place. After losing (& finding) one of my diamond studs TWICE I called to ask about a new earring backing. The girl who answered said to come right over, she had backs but a better idea for me. They recommended a screw-back backing to help me from losing them. It was a great idea but the stems were a bit thicker than I was used to and hurt my ears a bit. I brought them back, they said no problem, they would try a smaller piercing. Expecting a few days of work I gave them back expecting to pick up 4-6 days later. Got a text after 4 hours saying they were ready to be picked up! They are perfect now, they even offered to clean them for me whenever I need it done. Great business, great customer service, great people all the way around. I will go no where else now. I trust this business with all of my jewelry now.
