I was invited to a Black Tie wedding here last Sunday night. The outdoor garden lights up at night and there is a big ballroom that will hold up to 300 peopleLocated in Hollywood west of 95 on Sterling Road, there's a parking lot in the back which is valet only.The wedding was beautiful. With over 200 people and it never felt crowded. The ballroom is big and has some amazing lighting. A lot of money put into that lighting, and it shows, it truly was breathtaking and if you're looking for a picture perfect event, this could be your place.There were a couple of things that I had to shake my head at and I know if this was my party, I would have been very upset. I've never been to an event like this where they served drinks in plastic cups, had a nice range of better liquor but didn't have any basic mixers. There was no club soda or tonic water offered and no limes or lemons. The food was your typical catered food. Nothing great, nothing terrible. It was served as a buffet and you were asked to take your plate from the table and carry it outside to be served. This wasn't someone's backyard BBQ, this actually was noted on the invitation as a Black Tie affair. Somehow without fresh plates by the food, this just seems like it breaks buffet etiquette 101, as were the paper cups with the word TIPS located at the end of the buffet, all of the bars and the end of the evening coffee bar. Personally, again, if this was my affair, I would have been mortified. This was a wedding, not a condo or bowling event. Im not against tipping but I'm pretty sure, the brides parents had at least a 20% gratuity added to the bill.

Elvis and the Lavan and Broward Catering teams hosted our wedding on 11/19/23 and we are still on cloud nine. Elvis and the team went above and beyond and my husband and I are so glad we chose Lavan Venue as our wedding location.Having parking on-site made it very easy and accommodating for out of town guest who drove.Thank a million,The Edmondsons

Hosting my event at Lavan Venue in FL was an excellent choice! Elvis was consistently responsive to my needs, and Broward Catering delivered delicious food with the Haitian Menu. The venue; clean, beautiful and spacious. Lavan Venue offered a unique package. I highly recommend Lavan Venue for its outstanding diversity and top-notch customer service.

I had the pleasure of working with Elvis previously, as my caterer for my wedding and just recently to host my Church Gala at the Lavan Venue. Elvis went above and beyond to ensure that the Church Gala was a success, making sure the decor was handled and providing an amazing staff that served 200 guests!I have no words to thank him for working with the Church to host an event that allowed us to reach our fundraising goal, truly a blessing! We received a lot of feedback from of our guests sharing how elegant the venue was and overall an amazing experience. Our guests are already looking forward to next year. I highly recommend hosting your next event at the Lavan Venue. Elvis is great to work with, has a genuine passion for the work that he does and will ensure your event is a success! I don't normally leave reviews, but I feel compelled as my party was the most exquisite and definitely unforgettable. Everything about the service and high quality food served by Elvis and his staff was such a unique and phenomenal experience. Everyone was delightful and professional. I have to say we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. The food was delectable, scrumptious and very appealing. He surely delivered in making my 60th Birthday Soiree, one I will never forget. I would not hesitate to recommend them for any event. Do yourself a favor and visit Broward Catering

Let me start by thanking the owner Elvis for his hospitality in being such a gracious host. He provided the most phenomenal, fantastic tasting experience and catered my sister's 60th Birthday Bash.Tasty cannot describe the amazingly tantalizing flavors that just tickled our tastebuds with the food prepared at this wonderful establishment.The delicious dishes and beautiful presentation have left the best impression.The food is literally to die for. First of all, we want to thank God for allowing us to celebrate our daughter quinceañera From beginning to end Elvis & Suzana were very attentive. The food was one of the main reasons that made us without a doubt sign the contract. The venue is simple gorgeous and my fav part is that is a single building, plenty of parking, secluded, outdoor garden, huge white canvas inside in which my event/flowers/decor planner JANESSA German , my daughter and I made it a dream come true, we designed everything from colors, props & decoration. We really wanted a very colorful and brilliant party.We utilize every single space and made it unforgettable. Also, I loved the fact that I was able to bring all my favorite vendors and made our event unique and personalized. Our theme was magical, Arabian Night ??Thank you Elvis & Suzana for being there for us on such a special night for our family and making sure we had a fun night. Blessings!

Beautiful place for a party. The room is nice and spacious. It has a bar area and plenty of room for tables, chairs, dance floor, dessert table, 360 photo, etc. There's a parking lot and entry from the front and rear of the place. Absolutely lovely!

This place is very beautiful but the lady who runs this venue is a very horrible person, she micro manages everything, one time me and my wife was bartending she gave us pure hell mind you we are license to legally serve alcohol but not sell it but she kept going back and forth with us about having a permit to sell alcohol but that wasn't the case long story less long we were able to still serve drinks but as the night went on she kept coming behind the bar touching our ice with her bare hands and using our cups that's when I just started to give her the ice myself for health reasons, mind you we try our best not to run out of cups for the guests, then there was a situation when she wanted more ice but my wife instructed me to stop giving her ice, so I did just that and then the lady got mad and went to the back and got her own bag of ice and toss it in the sink that we were using and told my wife it is our job to serve her ice whenever she wants but my whole thing was if this is your venue and you clearly knew where to get your ice from why did you want us to keep serving you? when our job was to serve the guests My thing is I understand it's your venue but you shouldn't be monitoring people like that she also did this the a cousin of ours who is also a bartender, he warned us about her already but we didn't know she was that horrible, from both of our experiences I wouldn't recommend this venue unless she is removed from it because like I said the venue is nice and spacious but it is not worth all the hassle, hope this review helps anyone.

Love the warmth welcome here, this place is absolutely gorgeous, the Food was so delicious, they have a variety of different foods here, that’s the amazing part. Thank lavan for the wonderful hospitality.
