La Moda Clothing has an attractive website with some pretty cool beach wear and loungewear. They retail their line via some reputable stores. Here is the warning, if you want save yourself the hassle of dealing with scams, be very careful before you buy anything from them. You will certainly experience 2 things, fraud and disputing the transaction with your credit card issuer. I say this with personal experience, where a large order was placed and the order never arrived, ending up disputing the charge. So, if you're looking for some cool beach/swimwear, try another company, because La Moda Clothing will never ship your order.

BEWARE before you order from them. This Company is the worst Company I have ever dealt with and they do not care about their customers. They sold us a Kaftan that was very poorly designed with strings at the shoulders, which ripped when placed on a hanger. Two were damaged by just hanging them as the strings caught on the should slits. We asked to return 4 each new in unopened bags, asking only for a credit to purchase something else. We were told they do not take returns back unless they made a mistake on item ship. They would not even consider that they sold us a poorly designed item and NEVER did they put on a receipt or included in a sale that "All Sales Are Final". They would rather loose a customer, have all pending items cancelled than credit a customer with under $100 worth of merchandise, shipped back on our dime. This is not a Company you want to buy from. We had a great relationship as long as we never had an issue and then they would not even answer emails pointing out the problem from their Corporate email. Only one response with a no return from the sales person. Avoid !!!

I was there last week and bought a jeweled tunic for a friend and two embroidered tunics for myself. The owner was very nice as was his son who also showed me some new merchandise. You cannot beat the quality of their clothing and their prices --- anywhere. This place is a treasure for people who like beachwear, resortwear, casual to fancy. The prices are incredibly low for the quality, don't miss this gem of a place.

The clothing is great, I love the texture & the most important that I don't have to Iron it cause I hate ironin, but the service is overwhelming. The owner follows you all around the store gosh that is annoying. whatever I spend almost $190 on dresses & tunics & he kept on showing me more stuff to buy I kept on saying NO THANKS... I may have to find another place to shop cause them they want your $$$ real bad.

I buy wholesale, not retail! Last week I revisited this store and well was not to happy with their service nor their practices. Do not know if they changed their staff, but I did see the owner behind the counter and he was not at all friendly. As I was looking for something in particular, they would not give me any service. It was strange to me to see what a great experience I had the first time then such poor service this time. I over heard a few conversations because no one would help me. What I heard was not to my liking at all. Just did not appreciate their business practices....way to shady for me.....They just pretty much lost me as a customer. Way to much competition here in Miami to treat customers like garbage. Not cool man!
