Recently went to K & K with what I thought was a major and potentially expensive air conditioner problem in my RV. Daryl and Dana got right on it and I’m not time they fixed my problem at a minimal cost. It’s hard to find honest and trustworthy people and I am happy to say I found honesty at K & K and the technicians.

This is a family run business with two daughters and the husband and wife. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years since I’ve been camping. If you want everything at one place including Repairs, this is the place to come with the same prices online, but you can have it in your hand the same day. I always go through every aisle before I leave because there’s always something I forgot that I needed. The entire family, and all the employees have great knowledge of everything you could possibly need for your recreational vehicle. If you need to fill your propane come here don’t exchange because they’ll actually fill your bottle all the way. All I can tell you is come and see for yourself. Most people walk in there and don’t have a clue of what they’re doing and this family run business educates you as much as they can and you can always feel free to ask and “I dont know” question because they have no problem answering them. They just want to help you and get you on your way and of course get you all the good quality items that you will need when using your RV. i’ve used every service that they provide. I had a tree branch damage to the corner of my roof and I thought it was gonna be really expensive to fix not only did they fix it right but they gave me the extra parts in the packages including the tape, the sealant, and the AC drain that they didn’t use just in case it happens again, and I can repair it on the road. They didn’t keep those parts for themselves. I paid for them. This is how they do business. Other repairs have also went well when needed and I didn’t get some ridiculously high bill. They told me it’s gonna cost around $800 and it cost $720. As a consumer, this is the place to go stay away from big box camping world etc. if you can. Not to mention every single part that you may need is in stock. I needed a toilet. I had a choice of seven different toilets. I needed a new refrigerator and they had a bunch of different choices. They also never try to sell me something I don’t need. Try them out have a great experience like me. I was in there last week to pick up a bunch of little things. When I got home, they threw in a cutting board and they also put everything in a nice bag for me. It’s the little things.

The service at the garage was excellent. The price was good, and the team was very patient throughout the RV repair. Highly recommended.

I must say that the people at K and K are so helpful. I have an older RV on land with a well. I went in there to get a water filter for the smelly water. Initially I wanted to get a big one hoping it would help the smelly water. The sales lady suggested I get the small one due to way we use it and the amount of water that will actually go through it. She was right! The cheaper one worked better than the big expansive one we had. Today I called about a Dometic thermostat and when I explained the issue I was having, they gave me tips to reset the thermostat before I go buy a new one. Once again they saved me from spending money I didn't need to. Most helpful sales people I have ever met! & I work in the sales business.... Definitely will keep going back to K and K for my RV supplies :)

Purchase a school. Was Up sold to the 5000 pound Jeff for $300. They did not install even though they have installation services. They gave me two business cards of installation companies. After installation the part jammed before the first being a weekend I had to have an additional Mobile repair to get the trailer off of my truck. Returning to KNK with the parts they rudely told me that they did not supply me with any installers. They also tried to tell me that it was a used part. Then they tell me that I can’t have a replacement because they don’t have anyone at present time to check out , the part. Then they tell me I cannot get a refund because it’s an electrical part. These people parents on RV, however there ability to provide customers with honest service through this Mom school, where the children are not taking over and the one installer is retiring, has obviously changed , medically. I would definitely look further for your RV. Needs. Even after talking to the installer that they provided me they insisted that they had not given me the business cards of the two installers. Amazing how they just magically appeared in my hand with their handwriting on the back of the card. Stay away from these people. Absolutely not a place if you want quality and honesty. they fought me tooth and nail saying that I was incorrect that they recommended an installer and that they weren’t responsible for the part. Not because there was anything done by the installation. Just they refused to take responsibility for the part.

I had a terrible experience with K & K regarding my Dometic AC, which was only two months out of warranty. Despite Dometic's advice that there is a 90-day window post-warranty where they may extend coverage depending on the issue, K & K's staff were unhelpful and dismissive. They claimed my AC was working at 100% efficiency with a 20-degree delta, but my own measurements showed only a 9-degree difference. As an EPA 608 Type 1 and Type 2 technician, I am well aware of proper diagnostic procedures, yet K & K refused to provide a diagnostic report and instead yelled at me when I questioned their findings. I felt that I wasted my time, money, and energy. We have photos and videos to support our claims and will be sharing them to highlight the discrepancies. Since K & K is one of only two authorized dealers, we have decided to switch to Coleman instead of dealing with this in the future. I strongly advise avoiding this place due to their poor service and unprofessionalism. Stay away, especially if you value accurate diagnostics and respectful service.
My advice to the technician: Always be open to learning from people with more experience instead of yelling at customers. Invest in higher quality diagnostic tools. We noticed during the diagnosis you had a cooking thermometer as your diagnostic tool. As a licensed EPA technician, I would recommend the ST4 Dual-Temperature meter. With dual K-Type wrap tab bead thermocouples, you'll never misdiagnose an AC again.

The mechanic is angry. My drill Sergeants were cool, calm dudes in comparison.
My Aunt was using my RV and the valve to switch between filling the tank or just using city water went bad. So she brought it to K & K. They removed some mud douber nests but did nothing else. She was concerned that they didn't do anything to fix it. But they mansplained things and she left feeling belittled and foolish. When she got back to the campground the valve still was broken. After her experience she wouldn't go back to K & K.
I ordered a new valve and needed a part to install it. So I brought it to K & K while other work was being done. With the new part it was just screwing hoses back into the valve and screwing it back into the RV. A simple fix. The mechanic couldn't figure it out. When I walked back to see what his questions were he was already angry. At what???? I don't know. He wouldn't let me talk and kept interrupting me after a word or two. He kept telling He was confused and it didn't make any sense. Since it was only 2 hoses to screw on, I eventually just said I wasn't confused and would do it myself. The mechanic stated screaming at me. I'm still not sure why.
That wasn't reasonable. I would recommend any other mechanic. Next time I will drive hours away if necessary to get someone that knows what they are doing & can communicate without being a jerk.
It took me 10 minutes to fix the valve myself. Once I had the correct part from inside.
