I was recently recommended by a friend to go on 57 th and Johnson street , to purchase a mattress. I was told by my friend that they were the original 1/2 price mattress and they have recommended this location for 20 years to other various friends and all the friends had been very happy and satisfied. I entered the store front and was immediately impressed by the amount of mattresses and the different designs and quality. It took me approximately a hour of time to find a perfect mattress !! A Simmons beauty rest !! I looked at the exact same mattress at city furniture and it wasn’t 1/2 price , it was 1/4 of the price for the same mattress. I’ve intentionally waited two weeks of great sleep and comfort before I posted my review. The salesperson, might also be the owner? Because she was not only handling my mattress sale but taking phone calls from other customers. Her name is Clara , she also helped me load my mattress and box spring and frame into my husband’s truck. I definitely ? approve of 1/2 price mattress on Johnson street but it was a very pleasant surprise!5 STAR SERVICE!!

The owner, Cara was extremely knowledgeable and cared very much in assisting me with my purchase. We just bought our 3rd mattress from this store. Queen Beautyrest Beyond. Saved 50% over other stores. Not only do I sleep better on this great mattress I sleep better knowing that I saved a bunch of money. Cara was very patient with my wife and I trying almost every mattress in the store. Seemed to be concerned about our satisfaction.Wish more businesses cared like this and offered value like this.

I had been looking all over for the right Mattress I just happen to be driving by the store pulled in and right away. I was welcomed at the door by Cara. she educated me on the right mattress for me and stayed with me the whole time, pulling down one mattress after another until we found what I liked I have already recommended her to friends and family and I know where I’m going. Next time I need a mattress. Thank you Cara.

Former customer, regardless of being family friends, the truth is you get a better deal than most mattress stores nationwide without online stress. The owner is solid, he will make your dollar stretch to help anyone to get u what u need. Yes, your mattress may be there today and sold tomorrow because they are popular for the price. I'm in NC now in the furnishing capital and I'm still call Halfprice to my mattress in need.... knowing a small blemish safes $$. Just talk and negotiate, before bashing the company knowing it's called Halfprice mattress. Or go to Mattress Firm or Ashley and pay premium for same stuff.Plus, family owned ,and Military supportive for those served'Sgt. O (retired)
