We needed specifically to get a body shipped out of state and had time to price check. There was a 6,000 spread between prices, and laws regulate preparing a body for shipment so we were getting quotes on the exact same service needed. One place quoted 5,000 more than Genesis because they had to "come from Miami" (to Ft. Lauderdale). I had to laugh at that one. Genesis is straight-forward, reasonable, and efficient. We didn't even have to go the the funeral home. Documents emailed to us, signed, emailed back. Paid by phone. DONE! I'm not a fan of the funeral industry, but I did not feel ripped off by Genesis. Paul didn't try to upsell , or offer services he know we didn't need. Many (most, actually) funeral homes take advantage of grieving families. Not Genesis. Thanks, Paul, for a job well done.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Paul and his staff for the support they gave my family and me in this time of need. This is the first time we experience death in our family and from the moment I made the first call he helped me with all the information I needed to go through this process. I can honestly say that if it was not for them I would have not accomplished my dad’s farewell the way it happened. Thank you Paul and staff for everything may God bleed you and continue blessing you for what you did for me and my family.

I have been to Genesis Funeral Home twice, once a few years ago and most recently yesterday. I found the customer service to be great, and Todd was very helpful and available during the entirety of the service. The space holds about 65 guests, and parking is limited but they do confirm with guests they can park on the side of the building and the lot next to them. Seating consists of rows of chairs with Burgundy chair covers and two “living room settings” one by the entrance and the other located closer to where they place the casket. The bathrooms were clean, and the space didn't smell bad to me. They do have a TV should families wish to plug in a laptop HDMI to play a photo slideshow or video. I do feel the temperature in the room was a bit too warm for me, and they do have two ceiling fans which helped circulate the air. I appreciate Genesis and its services to families during a very difficult time.

THE CEMENTARY THEY USE IS SO BEAUTIFUL I DONT HAVE WORDS TO SAY THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHINGthey did They honestly take care of everything!!! From beginning to end from getting her body , holding VEIWING, attaining the death certificate, the plot , the burial for such an affordable price WE COULDNT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP AND THE GENTLEMAN WHO TOOK CARE OF US DIRING THE VEIWING WAS SO RESPECTFUL AGAIN THANK YOU

My husband recently passed away and from the moment I reached out to the funeral home, they were very helpful, offered and explained all the services they offered. We met to finalize the final funeral arrangements and they were very kind and compassionate. The viewing was serviced again with kindness and compassion and no matter what we asked, it was done. The services of this funeral home exceeded our expectations. We contacted them to help us repatriate our mother's body to Panama after she passed away last month in Fort Lauderdale. From the first interaction with Paul, we could tell that he cares about what he does. The day after my mom passed, we signed a contract early afternoon and he immediately went to pick up her body from the hospital. The viewing he held for us was so peaceful and my mom looked so beautiful and peaceful just like she was sleep which brought a lot of comfort to our family. While repatriating a body takes time and families can get very anxious waiting to repatriate a loved one, he was very patient and answered all the questions we had. Because she passed away from COVID, getting an airline to transport her body proved to be challenging, but Paul found one and Paul helped us realize our mom's dream to be buried in Panama next to her mother. Eternally Grateful for the excellent and personable services.
