Clean, safe, great pumps. Empanadas and pandebonos are delicious and fresh. Nice not to have a cage or wall of plexiglass at the register. Well organized, well lit and often at least 1 or 2 BSO deputies there. 6 flavors of ICEEs and machines work and are kept clean. Self serve & counter serve coffees are really good. An all-around excellent convenience store.

Looking for a place where you can get cheap gas, loads of great snacks & even an amazing Boars Head brand sub? Well then look no further than Downstairs in Cooper City. When it comes to gas, it's pretty self explanatory. This location is always priced fairly in comparison to other gas stations in the area. The pumps are kept in good condition & in the many years I've been coming I've never grabbed onto a grimy/sticky handle like I have at other places. There's been a handful of occasions I've actually seen the employees outside cleaning the pumps & the surrounding area where the trash cans are located. Also, this is the only gas station I've seen with fully touch screen pumps which has always been kind of cool. Even though it might sound crazy because Downstairs isn't as well known as other gas stations that sell sandwiches (like Wawa, for example), I have to say their food is great. Most of the time I visit there's at least 1 or 2 people ordering food which is a good sign that they're constantly turning product. Everything in the cases look fresh & I know first-hand from eating it, it is. Sometimes the wait could be a little long because the food prep station isn't the biggest, but that's usually never an issue for the most part. My favorite thing to order from here is the Cuban sandwich. From the toasted bread, to the melted Swiss, to the large portions of meat, it's consistent no matter who's making it. Carrying Boars Head products is a nice touch which really helps make their sandwiches top notch! It should also be mentioned that their staff is typically friendly which makes coming here enjoyable. There are too many places that have workers who seem to dread their jobs, but that isn't the case for Downstairs.

Decent subs you can get 24 hours. Friendly staff and have always been extremely clean. Gas station prices are cheap in comparison to flamingo and Stirling. Automated screens.

Some of the best subs you can possibly get in Florida. This is regardless of the fact they're in a gas station

This is probably the only gas station that I know of that is known more for their subs than for their gas! They have so many different types of subs here and they use Boars Head products so you know you are getting quality meats and cheeses. They also have a great Cuban sandwich that you can order in 3 different sizes depending on your appetite that day. The convenience store part of it is like your typical gas station convenience store offering things like chips, soda, some toiletries etc. Gas in competively priced.

My husband kept telling me that we had to try their subs because the veggie toppings always look so fresh. Well today was the perfect day because we were going somewhere and decided to bring subs with us. There were 2 girls behind the counter who were very friendly. They have Boars Head meat for their subs and have a nice variety of toppings for your subs but I noticed that their spinach and arugula looked a little wilted. My husband told me later that their veggies never look like that and that everything usually looks so fresh. We ordered 2 London Port Roast Beef subs and loaded it with mayo, provolone cheese, spinach, tomatoes, extra sweet peppers, red peppers, green peppers, salt & pepper, oregano and oil & vinegar. They were very generous with the sweet peppers when we asked for extra. They also gave us banana peppers and black olives on the side when we asked for it. They do the coolest thing when they pack your sub. They have paper bags ready to go which ads lined with a plastic bag. After they roll your sub up in paper, they cut your sandwich in half and put them side by side in the plastic/paper bag. The plastic bag keeps the juices from soaking the paper bag. We shared the sub on white bread and noticed that the bread was not split evenly so that the top piece had more bread than the bottom. Our bread was also cut all the way through so that the top and bottom were separate pieces which made the sub hard to eat. The taste of the sub was VERY good! We'll happily order subs from here more often and will just make sure that they don't cut the bread all the way through.

Downstairs is a nice little gas station that is basically connected to the neighborhood of Rock Creek. It is very easy to get into from both the neighborhood and right off of Stirling! It has a few pumps and every time that I have been here, the pumps always look clean and they are all always working! The prices are a roughly the same price as other local gas stations, sometimes being more BUT also sometimes being a little cheaper than those around it. The convenience store portion of this place is very nice and clean and has some of the friendliest gas station workers I have ever met while I was on the road. One of the coolest things about this place is they have a little deli/sandwich counter where you can get some of the best sandwiches around, in my opinion. They even sell boars head deli meat! What other gas station can you go to and get boars head meat?! If I am here and getting food, I always get the Cuban sandwich, and it never disappoints. The flavors of the meat they use all blend together perfectly and the bread is always crisped to perfection! I usually need to tell them a little less mayo because they tend to use a lot of it, but overall, still an amazing sandwich as always! Like always, I hope to keep coming back here because of how great everything is!

This place is the convenience store located right within the Rock Creek community and also has some really good gas that lasts a while as well as great gas prices that are hard to beat anywhere around. The convenience store is always kept clean and I like that it is very well-lit inside and out, making me feel safer for sure. The staff here is always friendly and relaxed, making me feel warm and welcome which is great because I always feel like I am being watched at other gas stations. They offer a wide variety of different things like chocolate bars, roasted nuts, soda, beer. Basically anything that you can find that other convenience stores you can find here as well. They always are good with their prices and I have never found anything here overpriced compared to other places. This place also hosts a little tiny deli section that you can get Boar's Head sandwiches as well as a assortment of other items such as Cuban sandwiches and other hot sandwiches as well. I honestly think the Cuban sandwich here is one of the best Cuban sandwiches around. The cheese is always melted to Perfection the bread is always crisp and fresh and the meat inside always is a perfect combination of everything.
