I just flew in for a short stay and dashed into Dollar General to pick up a couple odds and ends. The store was clean and orderly. The shelves, though not perfect, were obviously attended to regularly. It was the STAFF who blew me away. Amber, the shift manager, went above and beyond to help me. someone should give her a raise! Thanks, Amber! You give Fort Lauderdale an extra sparkle.

Extremely rude customer service with the exception of the manager . She is usually super helpful and nice. A couple gentleman there super nice as well . About the 5th time there and every single time either the self checkout doesn’t work and when asked about it no one ever knows . I will be going to family dollar from now on or dollar tree . More options anyway .

Good place for quick shopping, convenient for picking up your everyday items. Prices are good. Clean store, management and employees are kind and friendly and helpful parking available for disabled disability ramps and entrance. Make sure to lock car doors before leaving. Be vigilant in this area, there is a lot of crime.
