“I love this place!!! ?? i go at least twice a month. I would go once a week if i could. The bags of spinach and eggplants are my first grab. Last month they had a BOX aka 25 full size babe ruths for 8.50. Some of the stuff is expired but its usually like grits or powdered stuff which is fine. Honestly in this economy in so grateful for this place and it soothes my inner discount queen. I remember like half a year ago they got a massive stock of yumyum sauce bottles for half the price not expired, and then six months before that they had those margarita frosted glass bottles in the flavor pineapple jalapeno which is usually like 15-18 dollars at publix but 7 dollars for them”

“I just flew in for a short stay and dashed into Dollar General to pick up a couple odds and ends. The store was clean and orderly. The shelves, though not perfect, were obviously attended to regularly. It was the STAFF who blew me away. Amber, the shift manager, went above and beyond to help me. someone should give her a raise! Thanks, Amber! You give Fort Lauderdale an extra sparkle.”
“This Dollar General store is really nice the workers here are friendly. This store is usually very stocked. Granted there is one closer to me but this one is not that far and I would rather go here. It's a clean store.”
“It was a quick in and out process even though there was an older gentleman who was clearly had covid phobia, he had a plastic covering his debit card so he wouldn't touch the machine and the same bag he was using to use the pen, OMG and of course I had to patiently wait for him to go through this process a few times before his card would read because he refuse to make his hand or fingers come in contact with the machine. ? The cashier was very patient also, bless when he left we both looked at each like, yeah that! ??”
“This store is very good, in all aspects, I am a worker and I always try to ensure that customers leave satisfied with their purchases, I always treat them with education and respect, we follow the store policy, always with what our superiors demand of us, Understand that when we can't solve something, it's not that we don't want to, it's that we can't and that's our job. Currently we ask for ID for sales of alcoholic beverages and cigarettes, no matter how old you are we do not make exceptions, if you do not have your ID with you we will not be able to sell it to you, whether it is ridiculous or you do not have to present the ID to us. I also want to highlight that those clients who shout rude things at us when we do not do what they want and do what the policy says do not have any right to shout at us, or offend us, or disrespect us, we are just doing our job.”
